Large Filament (PolyTerra)

Of the half dozen PLA filaments I've used, this PolyTerra is my favorite. I have an Ender 3 V2 and as long as the filament stays dry like most it prints great. I received a pack of 2 rolls of Black PolyTerra and one of the packs lost its vacuum. I tried typing with it first and gave up after 3 tries. It didn't stick to the plate, attracted like crazy and just made a mess. I opened another roll and it printed perfectly. After baking the first roll at 120F for about 5 hours and then sitting on…

Stunning color and finish

Stunning colour, just what I was looking for in grey. However, this yarn proved problematic as it is the only yarn I have ever had moisture problems with. I've had no issues with the wooden PLA hatchbox being left on for days and being printed from time to time, which I think absorbs moisture. This printed perfectly right out of the box, but within a day it began to burst and bleed through at varying temperatures and currents. I will continue to work with it and correct it if necessary. I just…

Temperature control is important, but it's good stuff.

The main reason I bought this thread was to stop the growth of a bunch of spools that I need to find another use for. The coil of this thread is made of pressed paper or cardboard. This material is biodegradable (probably compostable) and recyclable. Environment: ===========Ultimaker S5Indoors, 68F/20C, 54% RH The thread was skeptical. The filament itself is more malleable and appears less dense than other PLAs when loaded into a printer. Looking at the specs of this PLA and others from…
