Description of Polymaker Weight Filament 1 75Mm Density Additive Manufacturing Products

🚁 【Light Weight PLA】 - PolyLite Light Weight PLA is a low density PLA (0.8 g/cm3 compare to 1.17 g/cm3 for regular PLA). It prints using the same settings as regular PLA(temperature and flow rate), making it easy to print and compatible with most 3D printers. It will not foam when printing, this save you from a lot of troubles brought by active foaming of traditional light weight PLA. 🛠️ 【High Rigidity & Good Layer Adhesion】 - Our Polymaker light weight PLA has high rigidity and good layer adhesion so you can easily get some stiff parts of radio controlled plane with it. PolyLite PLA is a worry-free 3D Printer Filament Grey Low Weight PLA which has great bed adhesion, very consistent color and dimension accuracy and no warping, no jamming, no blobs or layer delamination issues. 【Note - turn off the fan for the first layer for improved bed adhesion】. 🍀 【4 Colors Available & Print Matte & Easy to Paint】 - PolyLite LW-PLA comes in white, black, grey and Grey. It prints a very matte surface finish which hides the layers and make it easy to paint, so you can get some unique beautiful prints for yourself or gifts for your friends. 🧵 【Tangle Free & Moisture Free】 - PolyLite PLA-LW is 3D printing filament carefully winded to avoid any tangling issues, dried and vacuum sealed in a resealable ziplock bag with desiccant. Please make sure to NEVER let go the tip of the filament as it may create nodes. Holes on the side of the spool can be used to prevent this issue. ⚙ 【Printing Settings】 - Nozzle: 190 ̊C; Bed: 50 ̊C; Speed: 50mm/s (Same settings as regular PLA) Selected color: Light Weight Grey PLA filament 1.75mm ( LW-PLA Grey Filament ). ⚠️ 【Important Note】 - Please make sure to double check the diameter of your order as it may automatically change when selecting a color. Disappointing Results from 3D Filament

Based on my observations the Polymaker Weight Filament for 3D printing is NOT up to par. The printing quality WAS poor, despite being advertised as an industrial and scientific-grade product .Although it was straightforward to load and use, the printed object's final finish was disappointing and it lacked the density it claimed to have. The only positive aspect was that it did not cause any nozzle jams in my printer. Overall, I would not recommend this filament to serious 3D printing…

Pros
  • Produces high-quality and strong prints due to its high density.
Cons
  • flimsy

Advertised light weight DOES NOT foam or light weight

What I don't really like about some products on Amazon is that it's very annoying and time wasted when something is advertised and it isn't out , it is not as advertised. I bought a light PLA to make RC planes as it was clearly advertised that it can foam like bunt or eSun, but it has many problems. I've tried every possible permutation and combination to build a decent benji, it didn't work well. The product is similar to wood-PLA, but is time-saving, lightweight and foam-free.

Pros
  • No tangles or moisture
Cons
  • Fading
