Everything I needed came. It loaded and made spot welds reliably. The depth of the welds is somewhat related to the internal battery charge level, so you'll need to set it low when the battery is fully charged and slowly crank it up as you go. You can just always plug it into the charger. I haven't tested this. The pack I put together was 32 recycled (and tested) pairs of 18650. The supplied strip is a bit flimsy, but I wasn't looking for high current so that was fine.

Contained nickel could not be fully welded to itself at full power; Welds burst with very minimal metal deformation and no breaks. The material included is 0.1mm thick, making it easy to weld. Another review claims that the nickel is not pure but plated iron, which is also problematic but could explain some welding difficulties. Welder works great. It's easy to use and works as advertised EXCEPT it doesn't weld pure nickel 0.2mm strips at all. I first tested it on the strip that came with the welder, which appears to be 0.1mm thick nickel-plated steel. This worked great at level 3 or 4. At level 6 it burns out completely.
