However, when it comes to final processing, I don't use a random orbital. Even at the finest grit, 220, 300, you can see the little swirls of wood texture created by the sander. I used it for about 8 hours and the Porter Cable paper didn't even stick to the pad. This review is of a replacement pad for your existing grinder. My Porter Cable Random orbital sander failed almost simultaneously. They looked perfect, but when I turned on the sander, they broke into pieces of foam, leaving a metal disk on the sander and velcro on the sandpaper. I didn't even have to touch the pad to work.
