and i love these! on educational devices

My two sons are 13 and 15 and I love it!. As we warm up, we'll start with regular baseballs. During the warm-up, we'll switch to 20-ounce PowerNet training balls. Gradually build up throwing power. When we go back to normal baseball games, we're going to feel like whistling balls. We haven't hit them yet, just thrown them. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR TRAINING - Even young players have an increased need to use two hands when catching due to the extra weight!

Pros
  • easy to read control panel

  • thin

Good practice ball for team sports

I bought these to use with our 12 year old son in the garden when we can't go to the ball cages so he can still practice. Like other weighted balls, it's capable of a full swing and the ball absorbs most of the contact so it doesn't go very far. We have 14 ounce baseball sized balls and they work great. We've been using them every day since we got them and they're holding up great! I was curious how they felt on shots so I took a few swings with them too and they held up great despite hitting…

Great for practice!

I bought these balls to play with my son and his baseball team. So far I've found many uses for them during workouts and warm-ups. Children like to use them too. We throw soft balls when 10 year olds hit hard balls go 12ft max so I can stand by and throw them up without worrying about getting hit. Balls are also good for developing arm strength. So far the balls have been very useful and appear to be well made. I have some with our gear and some at home. The bag is a nice addition and customer…

Baseball essential!

Great product! PowerNet offers weight balls in different weights. I bought 2.8 14 ounce green balls for my little 7 year old son who loves baseball. These balls are great for throwing, hitting, and even strength training. The balls are baseball sized and can be used to train forearm/wrist strength and hand speed. I usually put them on a t-shirt with a ball, soft throw and serve. I chose PowerNet because they offer different weight options than other manufacturers. This product is highly…

Great trainer for sports

I bought this item for my son to help him swing the ball. From the time he started playing baseball until now in his teens. high, he never swung over the ball. Although we didn't use them as much as I think we should, they showed an improvement in his shots. Now he dribbles better than ever. I don't think it's because he's getting stronger; he's 14. My son has no motivation to exercise to increase strength, mobility or flexibility and so I'm making great strides to improve him with these weight

Develop a stronger swing!

My son was so scared of hitting that he started taking gentler swings to make sure he had some sort of contact. He was a great contact striker from a young age and had enough success to feel like he was doing the right thing. What he didn't realize was that he was sacrificing a lot of power to make good contact. As he rises through the ranks, he's learning that the best players can now catch and throw the ball, so simple contact isn't always enough. These weighted balls were recommended to me…

Good trainer. mine didn't last very long.

Ideal for hitting. They really train good hand-eye coordination and make sure the players have to hit the ball. They're great for warming up before a game when you might not have a large area to work with as the balls don't fly very far. I have purchased 24 of these PowerNet training balls and have used them extensively over the past 6 months. . At first I thought they would last a few seasons but the reality is some fail in less than a season. Many of them lost their shape and deformed. they…

TCB vs PowerNet Balls-Softball

Ok, for starters: 1. The TCB 74 balls are slightly larger than the 2.8" PowerNet balls. As seen in the attached photo. The TCB 74 balls are also lighter at 14 oz than the 2.8" and 16 oz PowerNet balls. 2, Red vs Light Color; The PowerNet 2.8" is red vs the yellow/green TCB 74, better visible. This makes the latter easier to see in dark shadows. Continuation. This makes the TCB 74 a bit fussy about hitting the T without falling. The PowerNet balls are 2.8 inches who like: 1. Much better price…
