This is a good pair of wire cutters. They are sharp enough to cut any wire. They are smooth running with a spring holding the pliers in the open position. They have comfortable handles. I would recommend them to others.

I'm pretty sure I do the same thing as the others and use wire cutters on heavier items than they should be. This eventually falls outside of best practice, which is why they no longer work. Admitting that I do, I see no point in investing in higher quality bits. They are good, seem very sharp and have plenty of leverage to cut heavy wire. At around $7, they're pretty damn good for cutting as long as they last.

Knives are very sharp. Be careful when using them. They are good at cutting and tying wires. The long 6 inch handle ensures you have enough mechanical cutting edge to cut through thicker wire with ease. The choice of color is a bit odd for an instrument.
