Inexpensive Wrenches

I needed a precise tool that I can comfortably use when torque is critical. This instrument is very well made and comes with NIST calibration documentation. Outstanding quality and exceptional value.

SUPER QUALITY TOOL πŸ‘

Great for adjusting gear preload! I bought it mainly to retorque calipers. I've always used a torque wrench on the caliper brackets, but the famous caliper/hand-tight caliper elbow technique. Now no more guessing!βœ…

Good quality torque wrenches

I've had a lot of trouble with clip on torque wrenches and decided to give this one a try. Advantages: 1. No click adjustment, just turn until you reach your desired torque.2. You can visually see an increase in torque from zero to the desired value. Reduces the likelihood of overtorque.3. Hand position does not affect torque like some other wrenches.4. Manufactured in the USA with calibrated/verified accuracy. In other words, calibration with no Chinese rubbish Cons: 1. The dial is only…

Good tool for my timing belt work.

I bought this tool to tighten the idler pulleys and guides when changing the timing belt on my 2003 WRX. I needed a wrench that went down to 8 foot pounds. and up to 29 ft.lbs. This fits the bill. Converting from inch-pounds to foot-pounds was easy. Just multiply ft.lbs. to 12 and all. I also wanted a torque wrench that was accurate but didn't need to be calibrated like clickers. I chose this torque wrench based on my research on different types of torque wrenches. This is well made, feels…

Soild Wrenches

I was thinking of getting one of those cheap ratcheting torque wrenches for about $30-40 but as they are no longer calibrated in the future and recalibrating is impossible . Economy for such a cheap tool; I decided to take something worth the money. This is a solidly built instrument, you can feel its quality and weight when you hold it in your hands. A word of caution, this wrench is large, the pictures don't convey it properly because there isn't a good reference, think of an average…
