Probably works for most cats, but everyone was afraid of the noise and the pointer. I could train her without him. I like the idea and the fact that it's telescoping. It's easy to hold and use.

Worked great for a while then dropped about a foot and stopped working. The clicker doesn't work. I even took it apart to see if there was any way to fix it and it's just cheaply made.

Love the idea of a retractable training pen. However, this clicker quickly became completely useless. The button you press to make the click only worked well for the first two workouts, only about an hour then it started sticking. If it doesn't click every time you press the button, it's not good for your workout. Don't waste money. Since the workouts are short I would say it worked for about an hour in total.

Contrary to some previous complaints, I found the clicker itself to be fine and didn't find it too loud. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned the clicker wouldn't be loud enough. But I have no problem with that! I have used it with my dog and cat. Many trainers recommend using a clicker and aim to teach a dog to associate a specific location or position with a reward. The Premier Click Stick with retractable target is great for this.
