🐴 Premium 6' (72") Latigo Leather Saddle Cinch Tie Strap - Western Saddle Essential Review

The included leather strap broke very easily when trying to just thread it through the holes in the latigo when trying to tie it. Please note that I need to find a replacement leather cord. Very cheap.

The Latigo itself is of decent quality in terms of leather and softness. However, I would never have gone with it if I knew how profusely it bleeds. My dear, this is it the pad spoiled and dirty.

There aren't many reviews on this Latigo so I'll read mine. This is a high quality leather that is supplied in a sealed plastic backing. The edges are well finished, the front is smooth and the back is rough but not too rough. The oil absorbs well and the color is right. It is flexible and easy to pull right out of your pocket.

So it was a very durable leather. I soaked it in foot oil for almost a week and it immediately softened. It also came out more brown than red. This turned my oil red and made it look like blood in the bowl I was using. It's a real pleasure to use on my saddle. Works well. Will the paint bleed on my horse or pad so keep that in mind. Otherwise I like it and would buy it again
