This is the filament you're looking for

Most reliable PLA filament that I've used. Prints at 190* on my taz 5 with no jams or issues after multiple rolls. May clog the printer nozzle if not used properly.

Pros
  • Great Service and Product. ThanksWill purchase again. Thanks
Cons
  • May clog the printer nozzle if not used properly

Five Stars for my opinion

Great quality prints (minimal stringing, great surface quality, decent "sheen") with my Ultimaker 2. Better than eSun.

Pros
  • Solid filament for basic prints. Never had any clogging or adhesion issues.
Cons
  • No issues here

Brittle, bad bed adhesion, horrible customer service.

I was having issues with bed adhesion with this filament. I contacted the company through their website and requested the best settings for my printer. Instead of replying with settings that would work best they asked for a screenshot of my order. What a waste of time! All they had to do was suggest the best settings. I am not sure why I have to jump through hoops to get support. Also, the filament is brittle and breaks off when my printer returns to the home position.

Pros
  • Flexibility for some applications
Cons
  • Can be difficult to store and transport

A really great shade of pink that prints wonderfully!

There's something irresistible to me about this shade of pink from Hatchbox. It stood out right away to me after watching some reviews of various pink filaments. I've used this to print a few Kirby themed items and they look fantastic. So far I have had good luck printing items with Hatchbox filament. I get quality prints and I love the color. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Ideal for prototyping and manufacturing
Cons
  • Can be affected by environmental factors, such as humidity and temperature

I really like this brand

I really like this brand. price is good. always fast delivery. consistent print. vacuum sealed with desiccant. never brittle. great finish. wide selection of colors.

Pros
  • 3D Printing Supplies
Cons
  • Cannot be used for high-stress applications

Disappointed with the filament

sadly I will stop buying from hatchbox. the last 3 filament spools I bought had many sections where the plastic was so brittle that it would snap. I had it snap many time while printing. I really liked the brand but after 3 spools with the same problem I decided to find a different brand.

Pros
  • No issues
Cons
  • Requires a specific temperature and humidity environment for optimal results

best filament for the money

best filament for the money. ive gone through 2kg of this stuff in different colors with no print failures. previously, filament in the price range would have inconsistencies that would cause failures.

Pros
  • Hardens quickly
Cons
  • Can become brittle and break during post-processing

Think I found my new low cost favorite. This stuff doesn't become brittle and has a nice medium sheen to the print. Great stuff, will buy this over Gizmo Dorks from now on. Although I think Gizmo has more of the transparent stuff.

Pros
  • Reliable performance
Cons
  • Can be wasteful if not used for large prints

Good low price PLA Filament

I have completed several long prints with this filament on a LulzBot Mini with no problems. The material is not brittle, and has not caused any clogs in the extruder. I would/will purchase this filament again.I ran using Cura v17.10 using the material settings for eSUN PLA.

Pros
  • I regularly use hatchbox pla, and its awesome, Ive yet to get a bad batch.
Cons
  • Quality may deteriorate over time if not stored properly

Works great! best in my review

We have a Dremel 3D printer. We use Hatchbox filament all the time. Works just as well as Dremel brand, but you get more on a spool for less money.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Requires a lot of trial and error to achieve desired results

pla breaking best in my review

I had the same breaking problem with this filament. I also have white pla from another vendor that I've had for more than 1 year, and has not broken this easily. After some searching in forums, I found someone that posted this video, and its exactly how my black pla is acting:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfQTuaz--Xs&feature=share

Pros
  • Long-lasting
Cons
  • May require additional fan cooling to prevent warping

Cons
  • Limited availability in certain colors or finishes

Great Filament, Inexpensive Price

I was surprised and amazed at the quality and ease that this printed with. I've used my share of "cheap" filaments in the past and I'm happy to say this is a good one, but priced well.

Pros
  • Suitable for a variety of applications
Cons
  • May not work well with dual extrusion printing

It prints great when it works but I have found it strips .

I have had a lot of failed prints while using this filament. It prints great when it works but I have found it strips in the feeder easily and it clogs the nozzle a lot. I am printing with an ultimaker original it when it does fail it is a huge pain to get out of the feeder tube.

Pros
  • Environmentally friendly
Cons
  • Can be difficult to print detailed prints with small parts accurately

works in the 3Doodler pen

I was taking a risk getting this for my 3Doodler pen, since the pen manufacturer says only use their brand of filament. This filament is flexible enough to straighten and insert into the pen. I cut it at the same length as the 3Doodler filaments, since I don't think the pen gears are strong enough to pull it off the spool. It went in fine and then backed out fine. It's a whole lot less expensive than the little packages of pre-cut filament.

Pros
  • Biodegradable
Cons
  • May not work well with flexible print materials
