Good idea poorly executed.

I'll change the rating after further use. Fixing a sloppy build and lots of practice made it a little better. Don't waste money. It's more trouble than it's worth. While the sensor is accurate, it only reads when you pull the trigger and for a very short time afterward. The dump valve has two positions, fully open and fully closed, rendering it useless. The Presta valve head works well enough, but the Schraeder head is useless. It's a real shame because many of the other Prestacycle tools areโ€ฆ

Cheaply made, didn't work the first time I used it

I rarely return items because I research the issue first before making a decision. The youtube video was very helpful and looked like this product works great. Unfortunately it didn't work right away. The rubber seal inside the fittings is less than 3mm thick and soft enough that the seal simply breaks on first use, not extra. A ruptured seal would simply allow air to flow past it. I tried one of the other fixtures and the digital gauge was everywhere, sometimes reading 50psi, then 10psi, thenโ€ฆ

Presta valve seal failed after 1 month

I wanted to like this inflator but I shouldn't recommend it. First of all, the overall design is not what you would expect at this price point of the device. Second, the Presta valve inflator does not have a locking mechanism. I knew this when I bought it, but I thought it would be easier to use, it isn't, it is held with two hands. But the reason I can't recommend it is that after a month of personal use, when I was airing out both of my bikes, the rubber grommet that forms the seal on theโ€ฆ

Bad and inaccurate website image

Purchased from Revain based on website video. Received it on November 13th and was immediately disappointed at the lack of instructions on how to use it with my bikes Presta valves. As a mechanic, I was embarrassed that there was nothing to press on the valve. After watching the video a few more times, I realized that I have to screw the adapter onto the valve, then press down on the adapter with one hand and operate the air valve with the other hand. If I was happy with a two-handed process, I

Arrow does not go to 0. KEEP NEXT

Bought after reading mostly positive reviews and thought it would be great for my new road bike with Presta valves. I got the unit, hooked it up to my 21 gallon 125 psi max compressor and was done with my tires. The first thing I noticed was that the device was deflating around the presta valve even when not inflated (and yes, I made sure it was in place and even checked out the product video). After being reasonably sure the tires were fully inflated, I unplugged the unit only to find that the

but the hose is bad. It leaks at the fitting and that's it.

Inflator and gauge are of acceptable quality and work as advertised but poor quality hose. It leaked at the joint and was therefore difficult to use. I emailed Prestacycle describing the leaking hose and said I liked the inflator but the hose was leaking and asked if they could just replace the hose. 11/10/17 they replied and said that they would be happy. At their direction I filed a warranty claim on the Prestacycle website and also emailed after no response. They have not responded to theโ€ฆ

Stay away. Run away from this product as soon as possible.

I needed a good product to inflate my road bike tires with Presta valves. I read several reviews about this product and bought it. Worst thing I've done. It comes with several different attachments and they are all terrible. Neither of them provide a good seal and attempting to remove them from the valve will be excruciating and in the process you will almost rip the core out of your valve. Conventional Schrader valves also present a problem when attempting to achieve a good seal. My $10 Target

Cheap product but you get what you pay for!

I received and tried this product 60 minutes ago. I can't tell if I received a used or returned item as the sensor was covered in sticky fingerprints. Pooh. I hooked it up to my compressor and noticed that the Presta/Schraeder jet is not connected to the Presta valve at all. It falls off and never really seals the valve. So get ready. A few days ago I bought a set of Presta fittings for a Schraeder valve from Revain and was thinking of putting one on my bike valve. Well it worked better. Thisโ€ฆ
