The bracket is the wrong size. wheel of the right size.

Like the others, the bracket that attaches the roller to the door was a different length and did not fit. The good thing was that the reel wheel itself was worn out and I could easily replace it with a new reel by reusing the original bracket. If your mount is broken, this won't work for you. See photos.

Accurate replacement door hardware and locks

I have never replaced my screen door wheels and after spending months having the door fall off the tracks over and over again I decided to do something about it. Looking at the door, the original wheel springs were broken and didn't put any pressure on the track to hold it in place. So I went to Revain and looked for these spare wheels. I watched a few videos on YouTube for homemade. I removed the old ones and installed the new ones in a few minutes and now my door is like new.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Cheap, poor manufacture and design

I spent hours trying to get them in the door. The first build finally clicked after an hour and a half and watching the installation video 3 times. The second took even longer, never engaged, and the reel assembly shattered into pieces and the center hub was never seen again. Install the best of the old videos in about 30 seconds instead. It looks easy on video, reality and poor manufacturing tolerances prevent it from being so.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Crappy plastic breaks too easily

Trying to install it was an absolute pain. The installation attempt was so complicated that I got really angry. This is incredibly difficult because I have to insert the wheel into the slot in the screen door and pull (turn) towards me with almost no leverage. I broke a wheel trying to do it. I threw those away and bought the metal ones. They were still very difficult to install but are strong enough to withstand the stresses. Definitely worth spending the extra few bucks and getting some…

Very difficult installation

The plastic post on the screen door insert broke and the roller fell off. After watching a few videos on replacing the corner inserts and the new casters I figured it would be a no-brainer. NOT CORRECT. The corner inserts were easy to install, but those casters sucked. I don't know why they didn't fit. Maybe it was the wheels or maybe my inexperience. Another reviewer reported similar difficulties. It took me over 3 hours to finally attach the wheels. The holes on the wheels had to be enlarged…

Easy installation, great value and overall good.

After watching videos on You Tube I decided to buy spring rollers. When I finally got them I went to the store and at my sweet ages of 75 and 76 I struggled to install them for about 30 minutes and gave up. THEN I finally decided my memory wasn't that good, so I reconsidered. Video. and of course my memory wasn't that good, so I IMMEDIATELY ran to my workshop, at a relatively slower pace than in previous years, before I could forget some small details, such as: in. BINGO, God is so good to us…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Looking for better quality

I needed a wheel for one of my two screens. But it seemed so easy that I decided to replace all the wheels on my 15 year old screens. So I ordered 4 packs, 8 wheels. The old wheels popped out of the clips easily. I tried installing a new wheel but it didn't work. I tried patiently for a long time. I've noticed that the small clips don't stop reaching where they need to be to snap into place. I ended up putting it next to my old build and saw that it wasn't as long as the original. So I put all…
