Excellent product in the Door Hardware & Locks category

Due to very strong winds I had to replace the door closer bracket a couple of times. The latter was mutilated and torn from the door frame. I was very happy to find this mount as it is made of steel and is much stronger than the previous mounts.

Replacing old brackets

A very strong wind somehow brushed against the inside of my storm door that I bought from Lowes years ago and threw it wide open. Broken staples I didn't know were plastic! They fit perfectly, the holes match too. Now happy with the replacement for METAL.

  • Good value for money

This piece is much thicker and stronger than the regular

Shipping was fast and the product is much stronger than any others I've bought, the grandkids are hard on the side but this one doesn't move at all . I assume this will be the last one I should buy. Very happy with the purchase.

  • Hands Free

Great subwoofer for OEM part

I bought this to replace part of a broken Anderson door (less than a year of ownership). It worked great and you can't beat the price. I had to drill new holes as Anderson had 3 holes and this one had 4, but it was worth it. The quality seems to be better than Anderson's. Very happy

Inexpensive solution to broken OEM parts

I ordered this part to replace a similar part on my broken Anderson storm/screen door. It was replaced with an Anderson part and failed again. This part feels more solid and easier because it's a one-piece design and is about 1/4 the cost of the OEM part. They fit well although I had to drill two new holes in the door jamb but that was to be expected. Definitely an economical solution!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Poorly designed

This looks like a quality part, much more reliable than the stock part. The only complaint was that the first photo I saw had the pin (needed) to connect it to the door closer, but this delivery doesn't have it. I would suggest the manufacturer include a spare pen and raise the price by a quarter. It's a lot easier than running to the nearest hardware store in the middle of work.

This solved my problem with the Anderson Premium unit

I purchased a complete Anderson replacement when my Anderson broke on the wall mount. At the same time, I bought this device as a backup. My condition is special as the Anderson 2 PC mount would never work. We took this device and cut off about 1/2 inch to make it narrower and then added two new holes to get the screw in the middle where the meat is. Used two very long screws from Anderson's device and installed the device. The result with mods is good and strong. If I could learn how to add an

Good quality solution to problems

Today I installed this bracket on my storm door to replace an Anderson aluminum bracket that is wearing metal. Anderson said my three-year-old storm door was still under warranty, but I had to pay nine dollars to ship a replacement part. I told a customer service rep, who didn't seem bothered about keeping the item, that I would find it or buy the whole set for less than $9. I hung up and then realized that I probably wouldn't find the part individually or the whole set under nine bucks. Then I
