I don't know how this product got such good reviews and to be honest I should have known better. I've tried various Easy-Peasy sharpeners over the years with no success and this one is no better. What amazes me is how many people say it works for them. I used this remedy on a paring knife for 30 minutes exactly as directed! Wow, this sharpener literally stopped me from throwing out one of my knives. I have a counter deck knife set, not high quality but a solid set. The sharpener for the set broke and we didn't have a chance to sharpen the knives I use most. The knives got so dull it was really pathetic. So I invested in this pencil sharpener.
