After using the chair, I liked it at first. Unfortunately, after about five months, the seat weld came loose completely - or wasn't there at all because the seat almost folded into the side position. I enjoyed using it, I'm just very disappointed that it didn't come together properly at the weld and now I don't have the money or space. I can't even find anyone to contact for warranty information. Great deal on a garage chair. If you are looking for a cheap wheelchair for your garage/shop then this is the one for you. I know it's not the best but for what you pay it's a lot. I'm 6ft 3,225lbs and have no problem with this chair. It's built pretty solid. I use this chair to wash/wax the wheels and bottom of my car. Having had this for 5 years I've put quite a bit of brake work on it. It works well, I like the compartment underneath to store tools and parts. My main problem is that the videos are easy to rotate. They did a poor job securing them with thread lock. Now I've lost a wheel because of this and it still works but now tends to tip over. Really shit. Not a terrible mechanic's stool for the price. However, as a full-time mechanic, I found this seat to be of good quality but a bit unstable. I'm not a tall guy (5ft 8in, 150lbs) and a few times this thing has almost dropped from under my feet. This happened at both the highest and lowest setting.
