6219 Sliding Plastic Construction: Durable and Versatile Products for Easy Assembly Review

The only thing they had from Lowes was a piece of plastic with an adhesive on the bottom. You can imagine how long this went on in the shower. I had to drill a hole in it to make it work, but it fits snugly and matches the doors perfectly.

This part was used on a 3/8" glass shower door as the company is no longer in business and parts are not available. I put a strip of sealant on each side and then used gorilla glue to attach it to the metal door frame and it's a good replacement.

The American standard no longer made shower doors, so there was no slider either. We had to find a replacement for this1. Mount frame 2. had a screw hole matching the previous screw and its position3. prevents the doors from swinging and falling off the rails. Mission accomplished!

Oh I really wanted this to work because it looks exactly like what's left of what I have. But alas, the grooves were thin. I measured the doors and the existing one to 1/2 inch but this product was too narrow. Sigh. If it would fit I would give it five stars as it seems to be very durable.

We recently moved into a new house and the bottom rail for our shower was just gross. So much so that I just wanted to replace it. Found this to try. Worked great. I took out the old rail and put it in place properly and used the same screw that held the old rail in place. Perfect fit and made a miracle out of another. Great price, works as it should.

Our 30 year old shower door track broke. This Prime-Line shower door track is perfect. I smeared a thin coat of DAP Kwik Seal Caulk onto the underside of the door rail, set it in place and used a light weight to hold it in place while the sealant cured. After reinstalling the shower doors we had no issues with the door track or the shower doors. Note: Revain has a DAP Kwik Seal Caulk.

I was looking for this for sliding shower doors for a customer who was renovating and wanted to reuse their doors. This was perfect for their doors, but there are many sizes so measure before you buy. Very easy to install with a single screw on the inner shower rail. Quick tip: add some silicon under the plastic to make it hold up better than a single screw because when they break it's usually on that screw.
