Poor quality, despite what I've read from others.

Got these for my truck and I'm not impressed. Compressing the rubber pad requires twisting the lug, scratching the bezel that the lug sits on. When I couldn't turn it anymore I took a rope, tied it to the grommet and gave it a few tugs (like going over a bump) and it worked all the way. I sent it back quickly.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

OK I think. - Exterior Accessories

Well they are very easy to install and cheaper than the ones I bought at my local auto parts store. The ones that fall from the parts store and are invisible until you need them, they aren't. They stand out all the time. Unfortunately, when I first used them recently, one side broke out of the peg hole. Can't say it's the product's fault, I've used ratchet zips to secure my 300lb sons. Motorcycle and the load limit may have been exceeded (?). But I'll probably take them out when I findโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Available in White Only

They work much better than the Keeper 05637 flexible anchor points I used to buy for the small Carry On utility trailer that I use to tow a mower and four wheeler. No matter how I put the rest on, they moved. Not with these. They seem to stay in place much better. Also, they are much easier (on my arthritic hands) to loosen/tighten (with a wrench) than other pin and wing nut brands. Will definitely be ordering a few more pairs to have on hand when I need them.

  • One Year Trial

Perfect fit and easy installation

Very good fit and finish, well made product and value for money. Installed easily on my Toyota Tundra's bed rails, the ability to use a ratchet to tighten the fasteners on the bed rail ensures a secure fit. The brackets put a bit of strain on the factory covers/rail guards, but not enough to be a problem , considering how versatile the mounts are while securely securing my load. Perfect solution compared to permanently mounted solutions. I plan on leaving the mounts on the rails and think theโ€ฆ

Good, but should be better

I bought these for easier connection and water protection. They work but could be a lot better. 1 improvement will be better than screw type. This is a cruciform/cruciform head. Not many people have true posi-drive bits. Philips are difficult to tighten without removing them. A hex head or torque wrench would be much better. Also, the adhesive on the bottom prevents it from slipping and scratching the paint on top of the bed rail. I used a thin narrow double foam tape which allowed for betterโ€ฆ

Almost a great product

This is really disappointing because it's almost a really great product. Everything is very solid except for the piece of plastic on top that prevents it from falling into the hole. It's so brittle that the first one I installed broke in half because it could only be tightened a little more than a screwdriver. I mounted the second very carefully, tightening the screws with my fingers, which made me nervous because there was no way the screws could be tightened enough to keep them from fallingโ€ฆ
