Disappointing Automotive Socket Set

I purchased a socket set for automotive repair and found these sockets to be weak and easily damaged. Despite being labeled as deep sockets, they were barely deep enough for common fasteners.

Deep replacement drive

Sturdy and good quality. I have a cheap set of deep bushings and the 10mm are warped. The Stanley Proto was a great replacement!

“Professional” quality

I've been using Proto Professional tools since the 70's; they stand for solid quality "Made in the USA". This socket is well designed with fine workmanship and the size is stamped large and legible. Good tool for a good price.
