4 CHANNEL BRIDGEABLE AMPLIFIER: Pyle’s PLMRA420 is engineered as a 4 Channel bridgeable marine amplifier that powers up your speaker and is universally compatible. It also has high and low electronic crossover network or pass filters. PREMIUM RCA INPUT: For an easier use of this hydra marine amplifier, it comes with premium RCA inputs. If your marine receiver lacks RCA output jacks, you can connect speaker output leads to the high level inputs. SHORT PROTECTION: Built with a heavy duty Aluminum Alloy heatsink, thermal overload speaker short protection and LED light indicator. These are to protect the amp and your vehicle's electrical system from short circuit conditions. POWERFUL 1000 WATT: This amplifier is powerful with its 1000 WATT maximum and dual MOFSET power supply. Comes with dual adjustable input GAIN level controls of 10k Ohm (Low) and 100 Ohm (High) speaker impedance. MARINE GRADE: With its Marine rating of IP-01, it is waterproof ready. Rockin' Amps - Car and Vehicle Electronics

I installed 2 of these amps with a Clarion 309 head unit. So far I'm only using 1500 of the available 2000 watts and I'm using 5 pairs of 6.5 speakers and 2 10" subwoofers. The sound is incredible! I chose to mount the amps outdoors rather than hiding them in a box due to their high quality finish in the form of LED output indicators. The installation guide could be a bit clearer when it comes to hooking up different types of speakers differently, and they could give a little more detail on the

Reliable cheap sound.

I bought a boat and needed to upgrade my stereo system. For the most part, I was new to mobile audio, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I hooked up a 12" subwoofer (bridged) to it and got compliments on the stereo system the whole time. The 4.6.5-inch speakers were exclusively powered by the head unit. I operated the booster with my own battery (90Ah) and I never ran out of battery, even after several rides in a row and without recharging. It has lived in the engine bay of the…

Good amp for the money

Only criticism is that on the front (in the blue part around the logo) it has 5 LEDs per channel that glow blue. They light up in ascending order of the music, but I think there should be a switch to turn them off if you don't like them. But for the money this is a great amp. I have a duct driving a PYLE PLMRW8 400W, 8-inch, 4-ohm white marine subwoofer, also purchased from Amazon for $20. Bad buy for automobile and car electronics

bad buy, amplifier never worked properly. It loses the audio signal after a few minutes of playback. I've tried getting help from Revane and Pyle but so far I've only heard a lot of promises that someone will get in touch with me to fix the problem. A month has passed since my first attempt and no help has been provided. Don't waste your money on this, if you run into any problems, chances are you're on your own. I am very disappointed with this purchase and the service from Revain and Pyle.

Lots of power but not 1000 watts

I bought this 1000 watt amp to fit in the Cooler Boombox I was building . Along with the amp I also bought four 6.5" 400w midrange drivers and a 12" 600w subwoofer, all Pyle Hydra Marine. I also bought a bluetooth audio receiver with RCA connectors. It was installed in an Igloo All Terrain Marine cooler with air filled rubber tires with plenty of clearance for rocky gravel bars along the river.
