Nice design but the screws come loose during assembly. I don't have the right cross head size to prevent this. The T-shaped stand with hanging toys is only fixed with a pin, so it does not work horizontally. It spins. The rope is dangerous. Throw it away. Birds get a loose, soft rope around their necks and suffocate. If you are ok with all of the above then it is ok for the price. Not too small for a kennel (many of them seem to be made for parrots) and can be used in our slatted cage.

This is a very cute play area and I think it would be the perfect size for my cockatiel. My only criticism is that it's not as durable as it could be. It's almost like the main part of him could use another vertical pin on the right side of the swing and then everything would be perfect. He's not so unstable that I'm afraid he'll collapse or hurt Brenda or anything, he's just a little more shaky than I'd like. Overall I'm happy with the purchase but will definitely be keeping a close eye on it…

Would give 5 stars but some washers were missing from the hardware kit. I think they solved this problem after so many other people said the same thing in their reviews. To complete the assembly I had to make a trip to the hardware store. Other than that issue, it's great. My budgies are still getting used to being at the top of their cage. This WOULD be great but mine came with missing parts and tried to get the parts needed by contacting them BUT I WAS FOOLED! They asked for pictures so I sent them and then told myself that since I ordered from Revain it would be easier to return, get a refund and then order a new one. Only 2 washers were missing. So all this would be easier than sending 2 pucks? No thanks, I guess I'll just spend more money to buy more shims (although I didn't have to) except they're bigger and hold up better…

Let me start by saying that no instructions are included. I just pulled a photo of my order and put it together. Some dowels aren't as tight as I'd like, but after we screwed them into the cage I felt a little more comfortable. I will be purchasing extra shims so we can double up each side of the cage for stability. All in all, this product is adequate for the price. I ordered this play trainer for my budgie. When he arrived he came with the finished painting but no instructions. I didn't think this would be a problem until I realized the kit didn't come with enough washers to fit all the parts. Individual parts were also very dusty, as if they had been on a shelf for a long time.
