Very poor quality metal and mechanism

This is a very cheap sheet metal stamping. The mechanism is not good. The bolt usually remains retracted and does not spring back by itself.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative present

Wrong color of cabinet hardware

The color of this item is very yellow gold. It wasn't the copper color I was hoping for so I will be back. The quality seems good though if that's the color you're looking for.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other

Bad quality or bad design.

Installed on my kitchen island. Two of the four latches loosened and one fell off. The triangular piece shown in the second photo comes loose, causing the latch to disengage and fall off.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Shitty crap: cabinet hardware

Cheap Tiavanese crap. Very thin metal, bad springs. They almost always stick, the paint peels off almost immediately. It would be nice if they were $3, I wouldn't write a bad review because you get what you pay for. Considering the price I was expecting a quality that isn't there.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Bad impression

Not even worth $8 for hardware

I ended up buying a really good quality fastener for $24. It was garbage for $8. Reduced the price of the cabinet I assembled the moment I screwed it on. Took about 10 open/close cycles before failing. About a millionth of an ounce of stamped metal. Sometimes you roll the dice and lose.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They're probably not worth what I paid for. But they look beautiful.

They are beautiful but the spring mechanism is weak. I couldn't find anything similar that seemed better done, so I guess this is it. Just make sure you don't install the parts close to each other, otherwise you can't close and lock the door easily, you need to turn it manually to close the door. I installed it to cover the second one and had to slide it back quite a bit so I wouldn't go back in the old hole. It doesn't look bad. Now I know how to install the rest I think

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Complete bullshit: Cabinet Hardware

Absolute bullshit. First, it is the thinnest thin metal. But even worse, the latch is 1/8 inch or more above the latch, so the doors don't fit snugly against the frame. This is a big problem with full size doors and all the hard work of fitting a door to tight tolerances is useless because the doors just wobble. I used this type of latch because I didn't want to use a magnet or spring latch to hold it closed. Unacceptable. Unfortunately I didn't realize how awful they were until I installed…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
