easy installation, good quality. The problem is that they sent me a used item. I could see scratches near the pre-drilled screw holes and one of the screws was partially stripped. It's too small for anyone to walk by to notice, but I know it's there. (I opened the package too late to return it)

I really like the Venetian bronze color. Easy enough to install, strong enough, but what's really bad is that it lets too much air in through the holes and you can't plug them because then it won't work 😥 I have a piece of hard plastic 11"x 8" "wrapped" at the top of the inner panel so that it covers the entire opening but closes and lets mail through.Not suitable for utility bills!

This was an expensive mail slot for what you get - the metal is a bit cheap and thin for the price. It will be a "good buy" at $20-$25. The finish matches the price IMHO (aged brass in my case). Biggest complaint is that the included screws are only compatible with a 1.5 inch thick door. On a 1-1.375" thick door the screws will collide and so all 8 had to be shortened with a dremel.
