This is the second one I've bought.

I bought this for the first time a long time ago and I liked how well it stays on the phone. When my wife's phone holder broke, I bought another one. I gave it four stars because it takes time to put the phone in every time. I have to unscrew the screw on the back to open it, insert the phone and then screw it back on. It takes a little while. I've seen another one that uses an elastic band to hold the phone in place and literally takes seconds to put on. So I would say it's a bit awkward to…

  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Band

Not bad, but lacking for me

I was pleased with this at first, but in the end two points put me off. First, the mechanism for holding the phone is awkward. It takes a little twist and turn to add removing and tightening. This causes twisting, rotating and moving of the fastener. The bracket comes with a multi-layer gasket to accommodate different sizes of mounting plates. The movement tends to wobble them and once you lose them, the mount becomes useless. I lost both of mine within 2 months and I don't replace the mount…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Ideal for spin bikes!

I bought this to use in the middle of my spin bike. Although the mount part is a bit deep/big, it works well! The mount is adjustable so I can tilt it to my liking (up or down, side to side). The part of the frame that holds the phone is easily adjustable with a rotary knob on the back to open and close the four corners. Once set up there is a locking button all around the device which keeps it in place very securely! I never feel like the device will fall out and it's very easy to put it back…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Useless features

First, I don't like it when a seller sends me a free gift (or discount) in exchange for a positive review because it skews the number of 5-star reviews given. I bought this bike phone holder based on the reviews and now I understand why there are so many positives. A month after receiving the holder, I received a letter saying I would receive a $10 gift card in exchange for a positive review. um no I will not participate in the scam I have fallen victim to, thank you very much. Second, this…

  • Consistent test results
Cons

Loose and rattling

I've only used it for a long drive, through parks and through traffic jams. There are 3 things that need to be tightened when you put it on the steering wheel, the part that snaps onto the steering wheel feels really secure, that's good, there's a knob you can tighten to make the Screen doesn't rotate too much, which I could do. It didn't quite sure, but sure enough that it didn't move while cycling, so that was good too. The problem is the grip which then tightens the four corners that fit…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never
