Quadrafire 812-0210 Thermocouple: Ideal for 🔥 Quadrafire 800, 1000, 1100i, and 1200 Models Review

This thermocouple is different from OEM BUT I think it may be your only option. When purchasing, please note that yellow (on the OEM) = red (on this thermocouple) and red (on the OEM) = green (on this thermocouple). If you set it the other way around, your stove will go through the start cycle but will not call for pellets after heating up. Also, this thing is poorly made, so before you start, make sure all the terminals are securely attached to the wires.

I work in service and bought 3 thermocouples. They fit Quadra-Fire 1100I, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1200I. We first put one at 1200, he didn't register. So I swapped the wires and found that when I reassembled the red and yellow coatings were reversed. These wire connections respect polarity and the device will work. The thermocouple consists of two different metals. So try changing the cables if that doesn't work before sending it back.

Bought for a free standing pellet stove with classic Quadrafire compartment. I immediately noticed that it was a much thinner wire than the original and that the ends weren't twisted, just soldered.
