Grippy Sweet Pedals

These pedals couldn't be paired better with Five10 shoes and look cool and aggressive. They are very grippy and your foot feels attached to the pedals. I highly recommend you wear some form of shin guard when riding these pedals as even the slightest slip can result in painful injury. The pins are much smaller than the Xpedo Face Off 13s I've used before and they hold the foot better in less than ideal situations. Can't comment on how they hold up to impact but they appear to be very well madeโ€ฆ

Grippy, light, great looking, well made

So far I love these pedals. A season without problems, pens are still very sharp, will update if my mind changes. There isn't much that compares, but they are extremely grippy and I almost never lose my footing when wearing barefoot-style Merrel shoes (thin flats, etc.). Visually appealing in black. I recommend being extra careful with them, especially right after installation. I have several small scars on my knees/shins/calfs, some of which I hardly felt and bled for days. EDIT: I highlyโ€ฆ

I recently bought the blue Race Face Aeffect pedals. I used to use SPD pedals. I had enough control in corners (counterbalance with an outstretched leg. After years of riding the trails with SPD pedals, the transition has been as smooth as I could wish for for me. The grip with these pedals is excellent, even on rocky trail surfaces My inner foot can easily balance descents and jumps.I've settled on shin guards which I've had for a while (as I'm prone to shin sprains) but didn't need them asโ€ฆ

Very good pedals, suitable for parts and components

I've only used them on a dozen trips so far. They're a little scratched from a few pedal strokes, but that's only a minor cosmetic issue so far. I got these pedals because I'm still a relatively inexperienced mountain biker and I'm tired of worrying about stepping out of the clipless pedal. Pedals I have used. The first thing these new "flat" pedals taught me was that grippy shoes and pedal pins (or snaps, for that matter) are no substitute for proper pedaling technique. It took me a few ridesโ€ฆ
