I apologize for the bad review I previously gave this product. I found that I had replaced the starter 2 times and the real problem was the blade safety switch. The starter still works fine. Many Thanks.

Fits my mower and installs easily. The first few mowings worked fine, then it started whining and clicking. I tried to get my money back from the seller but they didn't respond. As a result, I received a refund directly from Amazon. At least one of them is behind their guarantee

This item has been installed less than a month and has stopped working properly. If it worked fine the first 2 cuts and hasn't worked since. This problem may be due to the mower itself as it is the 7th starter in my 5 year old bad boy mower. Although others have lasted longer than this one. If you are having the same issues with your 2014 bad boy mower then most likely this product will not last long.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I work with lawn mowers and sometimes we use a lot of mowers. That being said I bought 2 of these great starters after my OEMs failed after about 3 years of flawless service. I bought them on May 24th, 2021, it is now July 22nd, 2021 and I have to tap both solenoids for them to start. One for 850V, the other for 801V. A complete waste of money, time and effort. I will never buy again. As the old saying goes, cheap things aren't good and good things aren't cheap.
