It's a bottle cage, that's all there is to say.

That's a bottle cage, that's all there is to say! It holds the bottle well no matter how rough the trail is or how fast I'm going.

Suitable for attaching a bike to a frame without holes for mounting bolts

Good basic water cage. I installed it on an old Schwinn road bike from the 1970's that didn't have mounting holes. Simply wrap the frame with electrical tape, attach the cage to the tape and secure with clips. The construction of the cage is well suited for this type of attachment.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative impression

Solid cage with no marking

Solid cage with no marking. Used at RABRAI without causing bottles to burst. It's amazing how hard it is to find a cage fully branded with logos. This shows nothing and holds the bottles securely. I'm sure it's not as light as some (they're metal, not carbon or plastic) but for most riders the weight of the bottle cage isn't an issue while riding.

Holds a water bottle well in all riding conditions

It may not be the most important component on your bike but it will fit your water bottle and hold up well. I have a slightly larger water bottle and was concerned it wouldn't fit, but the cage has a slight crease that allows it to fit snugly. And after riding my bike for over 1,000 miles, I still haven't lost a bottle, despite going through lots of potholes, curbs and the like. I would recommend this to anyone buying a bike from a shop where you save yourself and don't include it for free!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Really nothing I like about it, everything is fine

Great cage for the price. It is very light and will hold the bottle even if dropped a few feet or climbing stairs. or below. However. Anyway, it fit right into the pre-drilled holes on my Schwinn frame and worked really well. It was my first time buying one of these cages, I was a bit surprised that so few come with bottles, but after hours of searching I settled on the "SKS Cycling Sports Drink Water Bottle" 0.75 liter decided. It fits well and is snug, but you can still take it out and put it

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern
