Why switch when you know the product?

I bought an RCA VCR about seven years ago and finally sold it in December 2001. I did a little research online and looked at other brands to see what was new. In the end, based on my needs and budget, it was the RCA VR651HF. My son gave me a JVC HR-A57U. We tried it for a day and brought it back for the RCA model. no need to read instructions. Reliable VCR unit

I bought this unit to replace a VR637 which broke down and could not be repaired due to missing parts. So far the device works well. I also bought a VR637 as a playback device for my Funai DVR. I hooked it up to a digital video stabilizer and then to Funai and I can rewrite the tapes to DVD-R. But this VR651 is under my TV in my room. I use it to rewind my old videotapes. It also connects to an RF modulator that my DVD player is connected to. My setup is complicated for non-specialists but it…

Great VCR for the price!

I recently bought this VCR and was very happy with the quality and performance for the price. Since everyone goes to DVD, so would I if my old RCA VCR finally died after eight years. Either buy another VCR or get a DVD player and forget about watching VHS tapes.
