Nice but not as tuff as i expected

I have a 16lb Shih-poo thats 1 year and four months old. He managed to rip the outer fabric in a day trying to disable the squeakers. We have had it about 2 and a half weeks now and he hasn't manage to make anymore rips yet, but some how has disabled 3 of the squeakers already. Due to his small jaw he is not able to make the toy squeak easily and so he gets bored with it. I do enjoy playing fetch with him using the Rumble ring because its silent when it hits the walls and wont cause much if any

Pros
  • Helps prevent boredom and frustration in dogs
Cons
  • The toy may not be very desirable for all dogs

Toughest toy for sure.

I have a pit-lab mix and Tuffy is the only brand of toy that lasts more than an hour for him. I like this toy because it is not too much stuffing and all of the stitching and edging makes it a little more difficult for him to destroy. It has two squeakers in it and has cross stitching all throughout to help enforce the durability. I can't say that these don't get destroyed eventually, but they last longer than any toy he plays with.

Pros
  • Helps control aggressive chewing while satisfying their natural urge to chew
Cons
  • The toy may not be very interactive

Sturdy.still in 1 pc.

Still in 1 pc. although a bit frayed around the edge but it is a play toy not a chew toy and with 2 lg. dogs and a lg. breed puppy it has proven to be a sturdy tug toy and a good training tool for "no bite." I will order another when this is shot and hopefully the pup will not be such a chewer!

Pros
  • The colorful design adds vibrancy and fun to playtime
Cons
  • The toy may be too hard for some dogs to chew on and could damage their teeth

It's my dogs best dog toy ever

This toy is so well suited to one of my dogs it's almost perfect. He likes to carry his toys around in his mouth and this toy is not too big and it's soft enough to do that. It's his inside toy - we throw it for him to fetch and we don't have to worry about breaking everything in the house. He likes the squeakers and it's tough enough to get a little bit of a chew. You can also play tug with it. It's not the type of toy that you would leave out because it wouldn't survive for a long time with…

Pros
  • Helps improve cognitive function and mental stimulation
Cons
  • The toy may be too loud or obnoxious for some pet owners' taste

Pup loved it! Lasted 90 minutes!

Always looking for tough toys for our 1 year old Doodle. This one.wasn't it. Within 90 minutes I was picking up stuffing from all over the house. But she sure did enjoy destroying it.

Pros
  • Gives your pet a sense of independence and autonomy
Cons
  • The toy poses a choking hazard for some dogs

Holds up fairly well against aggressive chewer

My dog chews through everything. Among items she's eaten you will find wood, rubber and of course endless stuffed things. She somehow finds the weakest spot of any toy and begins her destruction. She wont stop until the toy is completely useless and dead. This toy has somehow managed to survive a few weeks. I know she will eventually kill it but this is the longest a "stuffed" toy has lasted. Bonus points for the squeaker that she hasn't been able to rip out yet. She's murdered other Tuffy toys

Pros
  • The ring shape makes it easy to carry around and store
Cons
  • The toy may not be very versatile for playtime

Lasts longer than you think!

My dog LOVES these toys! She’ll flip it up on her face so she looks like a lion! She is a heavy chewer- has been working on this toy for a few weeks now. The toy is definitely beat up- but still holding together. Many happy days of chewing ahead of her!

Pros
  • The ring shape makes it easy for your dog to grip and carry
Cons
  • The toy may not be very durable in extreme temperatures

Our dogs love this!

We have a bigger one for our big dog and bought this one for our smaller 50lb dog.My 135 lb grand-doggy loves these too. The toy may be too big to store in a toy bin or basket!

Pros
  • The chew-proof design reduces the risk of ingestion of small parts
Cons
  • The toy may be too big to store in a toy bin or basket

Best purchase I've made

I have a pitbull and he seems to chew through all of his toy within 5 minutes. I got this toy a couple weeks ago and there has yet to be any holes or tears! The squeakers even still work! This toy is amazing my dog loves it.

Pros
  • World’s Tuffest Soft Dog Toy"™ on the market, with up to 4 layers of fabric!
Cons
  • The toy may be too difficult for some dogs to hold

Well, my dog toy destruction tester finally chewed through .

Well, my dog toy destruction tester finally chewed through this toy and got through to the stuffing today. We had this toy for a year and 2 months. In contrast, cheaper toys from local stores last on the magnitude of hours. I ordered another one today, along with another boomerang. When choosing toys, I look for ones where she can't find an edge to concentrate on. Even on the Tuffy Toys she defeated, we just remove the stuffing and squeaker and she still plays with them.Tuffy Toys are the only…

Pros
  • Helps promote dental hygiene by cleaning teeth and massaging gums
Cons
  • The toy may be too difficult to toss or catch

Holds up between 3 dogs

We have 2 boxers and a Boston terrier so you can imagine how long toys last. All 3 dogs play tug of war with it at the same time with each other. This product doesn’t fall apart easily. They also take turns chewing on it. It shows no sign of falling apart anytime soon. Very good product

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The toy is relatively small and may not be suitable for larger dogs

Tuffy for the win! on my review.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Tuffy toys! Our pups think these are the best toys, just be sure to know what you are buying and understand these are not "chew" toys. We've had many tuffy toys and though we love these smaller ones, our giant puppies love the larger ones that have handles for them to really tug with!*NOTE* The toys aren't meant to be left out to be "chewed" on. They are meant to be a tough tug toy and if you watch their videos, they show just how "tuff" they are for what…

Pros
  • Can be used for obedience training and behavior modification
Cons
  • The toy may not be safe for dogs with known allergies

The dogs really love this toy

The dogs really love this toy. It is great for fetch and play but did not hold up to my Am. Staff/ Boston Terrier girl's chewing. We still have the toy and I just put it up so it is not available to be shredded and pulled apart. I bring it out for playing with my dogs and take it away before they get to chew it up. I will try some of the other Tufffy toys to see if they are any stronger.

Pros
  • The ultimate durable construction ensures the safety of your pet
Cons
  • The toy may not have enough variety in texture or shape

Great for playtime, but not for chewing.

This was great until it was left out by accident and one of my dogs chewed a hole in it within about 3 minutes so stuffing was everywhere. This was the third Tuffy Ultimates toy I have purchased, but alas, these toys are great for fetch or tugging, NOT chewing. My advice: put the toy away when your playtime with them is over and the toy should last for many months. The hole is kind of small so I will probably remove the stuffing and try to stitch it back up to get a little more time out of it. I

Pros
  • Suitable for outdoor use and water-based activities
Cons
  • The toy may be too slippery for some dogs to hold onto

Good overall for tough chewers

My only complaint on holding up to my tough chewing Labrador is the outer binding. She can slowly shred off threads and pieces and eats and chokes on them. So I keep trimming that outer binding. Otherwise it has been indestructible for my tough chewer and she loves it!

Pros
  • Can help improve socialization skills in puppies and young dogs
Cons
  • The toy may be too difficult for a dog to catch

Actually Indestructible!

My dog loves to tear apart toys as soon as she gets them, but she hasn't been able to puncture this one! And she loves it! You do have to be a bit careful about your dog gnawing on the edges, and it's hard to make the squeaker squeak. But this is hands down the best dog toy I've ever bought.

Pros
  • Provides a means for physical expression of energy
Cons
  • The toy may not be very comfortable for a dog to grasp and hold

Surviving our crazy chewer

This ring is doing really well in our house. Our 35 pound corgi mix is great with shredding toys rapidly but this one has lasted over a week now with only a bit of damage along the black edge. No holes at all. She hasn't found a weak spot yet to get to the squeakers, which is her usual MO. Even the "fire hose" toys don't last hole-free for more than an hour or so with her. She loves to play fetch and tug o' war with the ring so it's a big hit. I love it because it is actually holding up

Pros
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor playtime
Cons
  • The toy may not be very exciting for some dogs to play with

We have been through many different types of soft discs for our 3 border collies. One of our qualifiers is the disc needs to float, as they are used in the pool daily. These disc's not only float, but are very durable and have withstood the test of daily use. These disc's come in different sizes. These disc's are not ideal for flight. We use the traditional disc's (Frisbee's) for throwing with any kind of distance. I would give them 5 stars if they had better flying properties, but we are very…

Pros
  • Promotes bonding and strengthens the bond between pets and owners
Cons
  • The toy may not be very entertaining for dogs who prefer plush toys

Pretty Darn Tough for a Stuffed Dog Toy

My dog is a pretty extreme chewer. He favorite thing in the world is to instantly destroy expensive toys. These things hold up well, depending on their shape. The rings and circles definitely last the longest, and the animals get wrecked pretty quickly. I've owned a few of them, and they'd last an average of one month with my extreme chewer, which isn't too bad. The weak point is in the black edge cloth. If the spot where it overlaps itself isn't glued down well, your dog will quickly get her…

Pros
  • Can be used for strengthening jaw muscles and improving gum health
Cons
  • The toy may have a strong smell that some pet owners find unpleasant

Our dog loves it in my review

Our 29 month old lab just loves this toy. I laid it on the end table and he slowly put his nose on the table looking at my husband and I, then he quickly grabbed it with the tags still on it. He won’t let it out of his site. He even sleeps with it. It’s been a couple weeks now and he still loves it.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain for hassle-free use
Cons
  • The toy may be too rigid for some dogs to enjoy
