I wish I found this sooner

Works great. Change balls in 5 seconds without tools and without having to lug around a large multi-ball hitch. Exactly what I was looking for.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Functionality

Perfect solution and beautiful finish

The interchangeable ball makes this stinger easy to transport in the car without having to take several stingers with you for different ball sizes.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Don't forget

Consider the post size.

Looks good. Don't forget to consider the size of the post. Bought too big for my S10. I prefer the option where the pen goes through the ball. If it gets a little rusty, you can always knock.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Boring packaging

This is the perfect solution for different size towbars

This is the perfect solution for different size towbars. I can easily switch between the two sizes. As many reviewers have suggested, I oiled the top well and added a plastic lid of my own design to keep it closed.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Does what it's supposed to do

This is my second replacement Reese clutch. I have a 2003 Chevrolet so the merchandise has been around for a long time. The one I had was old and rusty so I bought a new one. I don't know if you can use stainless steel and keep it strong enough but then it will last forever. On my previous truck I had a clutch from another company and it took about 2 years before the shaft seized. The one I bought in 2003 still works, it just looks ugly.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor

Very practical for external accessories

I have 3 trailers with 2 different coupling sizes. I used to carry 2 drawbars with me but this made it a lot easier. Also, the ball spins freely so you don't have to put as much grease in the clutch (I just put some on the shaft before putting the ball on.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easier than changing the drawbar.

Second set of the same product. There was one when I received the return and got insurance to pay for a new set. I love that you can resize for different pendants quickly and easily. Towing different trailers makes a big difference if you don't have to have different drawbars. You should keep it in the truck or cover it with a lid, otherwise it will get dirty and very difficult to let go. I also got a cheap case and it seems to be holding it in great shape.

Cons

Works perfectly! on Hitch Accessory

This is brilliant. I have two trailers with a 2" ball and an old boat trailer with a 1 7/8" ball (why?). This is an elegant solution to the problem. There is no way to attach the balls to the rack, so I keep the balls in my truck so they don't get stolen. When I need to troll, I just dig up the right size ball and throw it, it only takes a second. I can do it without a screwdriver, it's not that hard. I've had this on my truck for about a year and have had no trouble putting the balls on or…

Pros
  • External Accessory
Cons
  • High Price
