Time saver: Trailer accessory

I was a little unsure of what and how to hook up my caravan but this made life a lot easier. Installs relatively quickly and works great.

Pros
  • Includes a converter if required
Cons
  • Null

Ideal for outdoor accessories

Easily installs on 2017 Highlander. Works perfectly. My only suggestion is to make sure your trailer connector cable is long enough as mine fitted but was on the short side causing tension. Get a longer trailer cable in that case, but due to the length and the way I routed it in the Highlander, I had minimal slack.

Pros
  • Rugged, weather-resistant, one-piece construction that requires no cutting, splicing or wire wrapping
Cons
  • Disappears

Connector Reese Towpower Highlander 2017

Easy assembly on Toyota Highlander SE 2017. All cable connections are located on the back under the tool and storage compartments. Just plug and play; Make sure you remove the existing rubber plug in the bottom of your trailer to route the wiring to the drawbar - it's a lot cleaner than hanging it under the tailgate. Cut the rubber plug to fit over the wiring, then seal with silicone to keep items out of the car.

Pros
  • Easy do-it-yourself assembly without special tools
Cons
  • Volume

Cheaper than stock!

Works great on my 2017 Toyota Highlander. The only problem was that for some strange reason the instructions told me to mount it under the steering wheel, which was wrong, the entire installation is done at the back of the car. If you have a mount like Reese's, you can use the rubber plug hole to put the wire through (I made a slot big enough to put the wire through the rubber plug, then reinstalled it and used gaskets to to seal all gaps) . ), giving it a cleaner look and eliminating the need…

Pros
  • 16 gauge wire with standard 4 pin connector pre-assembled to vehicle end
Cons
  • Periodicity
