🚪 Enhanced Door Security with TUFF STRIKE Deadbolt Strike Plate Reinforcer in Oil Rubbed Bronze Review

This is a heavy duty strike plate. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the bad welding of the rod at the back of the forward. The welding current was set high, which melted part of the rod, which also caused the plate to deform somewhat. Building this item in the USA would put an end to this poor build quality. I would also consider making a slightly different locking plate design to further strengthen the device.

I used the template there and ruined the door frame. Offset, not where they are on the template. (I know, I measure twice and cut once.) I thought I did a great job after drilling all the holes with the template. Put it back in place and it doesn't line up with the holes in the old board. I have returned this item. I have received the goods. Upon inspection I saw that the splines that should go in the holes you need to drill are not straight. The plate needs to be bent for them to work. I thought the installation might have many troubles due to this issue. As I said before, the metal could be easily bent. I recently installed three Yale Assure Lock SL - Keyless Smart Locks with Touch Keypad on my doors and wanted to make sure the deadbolt was secure. I found these door amplifiers here on Revain and after reading the install I bought three of them. Installation was easy. They provide a template (cutting the template was the hardest part).
