Cheap plastic lanyard

The lanyard broke right on the first fill up, the cap itself seems to be holding but now I have to continue because the lanyard is broken.

Nothing sealed well

This was listed for my Chevy 1500 but wasn't. The engine light stayed on the gas cap and didn't fit properly. Doesn't seal properly. $ spent

Doesn't fit gas cap

The description said it would fit my 2007 GMC Yukon but it didn't. Looking online at the GMC auto parts site, the part number doesn't match the one listed on the Revain, so it's being returned.

Be careful when installing

The tab that keeps the cover attached to the vehicle when removed breaks very easily when installed which happened to me and I have the same problem as before. non-removable fuel cap.

Only worked 4 months.

Bought in July 2020 because the check engine light came on. The code was for a small emissions leak. This lid didn't want to tighten initially and it took a bit of fiddling to get it working. It's November and this one is already broken so we need a new one. I would not buy this one.

Don't waste money!

Bought for my 2007 Suburban and it immediately failed the emissions test. The mechanic checked the cover separately and immediately failed again. Then I went to Autozone, bought one and passed the test with flying colors. The new one even looks different from the inside of the filling, so don't waste your time and money, just buy one from Autozone, Advance Auto, etc.
