I bought this pump for my 2012 Kawasaki Mule 4010 Trans. I was skeptical because the factory unit was almost $600. I replaced the pump assembly in less than 10 minutes and it worked perfectly.

The metal pressure plate that came with my unit had the wrong notch position for my Mule model. When installing, he pressed the level float against the tank wall, the tank gauge did not work. When I figured it out, I put the old plate in, threw out the new one and everything works fine.

After many attempts to solve this fuel problem I gave up. The Kawasaki OEM product retails for $695. I was hesitant to try this part but the reviews were good. I have a 2012 Mule 4010 alongside EFI. It was a quick decision, maybe 10 minutes max. My ATV has been running great since switching to this product.

Fast shipping from seller, great price. Over $500 savings over a Kawasaki pump, I hope it lasts. Installed a few weeks ago, no big deal. It includes a float, but my '12 Kawasaki 4010 Mule has a tank sensor with a float attached to it. No problems and works perfectly. Addressed sporadic starting issues on a unit with 2100+ hours. So far very satisfied. The Mule works 5 days a week as a work truck on a large school campus.

I called HFP direct with the Quantum number on my old pump, HFP supplied this A-487, overnight shipping paid. HFP shipped this pump via Revain, I know I need an A-490 build. According to HFP I was able to return 3 pumps because A-487 is the wrong pump. I've been trying to get a return label from HFP/Quantum of California for a week. .Also I received a charge of $80 plus shipping for Overnite which was not credited as promised.
