Great. Replaced three of those stupid spouts with new ones. Works perfect. 2 more ordered! As you can see I was initially enthusiastic but now after a year or two I've cracked a few spouts rendering it unusable. The white material, similar to an accordion, fell through two grommets. A little disappointed that they didn't last longer. I am changing my rating from 5 to 3 stars

I had several gas bottles, all the same. I ordered 2 sets of nozzles. I installed them the same way. One leaked, one was great. I took the one that was leaking and installed it on a few cans and it leaked on all of them. love what works. I think they can be a bit spotty in quality. I just hate that I spent money on one of them. The spout is too expensive not to work. 3 stars. I would be afraid to order another one.

The perfect solution to the government's idiotic, nonexistent problem. The new CARB gas cartridges released more gas into the environment than all of the old cartridges combined. How many of you have spilled gas on a hot lawnmower and tried to fill the tank yourself? How many times have you poured a lot of gasoline into the water and swamps while refueling your outboard motor? Whoever invented this spout should be nominated for the title of saint.

I was trying to find replacement nozzles for my gas cylinders. I live on 24 acres off the grid so I have a few gas tanks that are still fine but the spouts are cracking from heavy use. This EZ-POUR replacement spout fits very well. However, when I filled my generator with gas, the spout leaked badly at the base. I took it apart and found that the seal had been destroyed by petrol. My mower holds about 9 gallons (yes, 9 gallons) because it's a monster! It takes 20 minutes to fill the tank with the safety caps and I spill endless amounts of gas. These new safety grommets spill more during use, so I don't understand their purpose. The replacement spout was fitted to my current 5 gallon plastic gas jug along with the vent. I'm so happy. Oh yeah. Stock up before someone bans them. I dip them in boiling water for ten seconds, bend them, tie them with string and let them cool for a few minutes. Makes it easy to fill the lawnmower without spilling. The yellow nut fits my 5 gallon god. The black nut goes with my 2 and 5 gallon Blitz cans and 2 and 5 gallon Scepter cans, as well as my 5 gallon American cans that I bought at Walmart. I bought a kit to replace the spring loaded safety spout on my 5 gallon gas bottle. It fitted well at first, but within a few months the spout, lock nut and rubber washer began to fail. My last attempt at using a jerry can was a complete failure as every time I tried to fill up the fuel it would spill past the bottom of the spout and all over my car. Hooray! I can use gas canisters again! It has been many years since I bought a gas cartridge. I unknowingly threw away one of the "good" old models that had about 5 year old petrol in it and sat outside. I just figured it would be easier to buy a new one than to clean the old one.
