Description of Reprapper 201: Fast UV-Curing Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing - Red Wax 1000G

Multipurpose photopolymer resin – Balanced for fast curing time, decent impact resistance, and great hardness. Astonishing details and colors – High resolution and low shrinkage allow to print highly accurate parts that maintain dimensions and colors after curing. High success rate in all LCD printers – Designed with usability in mind to achieve successful prints in a wide range of 405nm SLA printers. Low residue or debris is left after printing. Shock-proof and leak-proof bottle – We use a metallic bottle with a double security seal to prevent accidents during shipping, storing, and manipulation. Meets all the safety requirements – UV resin needs to be manipulated carefully before being curated. Intructions for use and manipulation on the label and MSDS.

FORGET THE SMALL PARTS

Very brittle and very large elephant paws on the prints making them very difficult to remove from a plate even after a good soak in IPA. We used every setting of this resin and produced nothing but junk, lowered the setting (layers and exposure) to reduce first burn layers and traces, and still produced junk. After several attempts to run the small parts of the model at 1:87 and 1:64 scale and get ZERO usable parts, we threw away what little was left and went back to Anycubic resin. With…

Definitely worth a try!

As a newbie to the 3D community, I wanted to find a cheap resin to practice with. So far I have only used two other resins. I definitely like their packaging instead of plastic bottles. One of my bottles leaked while traveling. At first glance, it's not as thick as others I've used and had more bubbles on its surface. But after printing with it, the results were good. Also, it doesn't smell as bad as other resins I've used. It definitely works well and is worth stopping by to see if anyone…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

The preview shown in the picture was printed with a 2s layer exposure, but I printed with this resin with an exposure of only 1.2s, at 1.2 it has a higher print quality, Apply PTFE on the FEP at 1.2 with exposure when I bought it was really cheap $12 now it's more expensive and now there are better options at $17 for 500g print quality. The smell is not that strong. If it gets on your skin, wash it off immediately, this resin is quick to irritate the skin. Color pearly white or white sand. But…
