Don't waste your money

I've been printing with resin for a while and I'm very disappointed with this material. It's like working with thick motor oil and everything comes out messy. I never managed to print it out and am sending it back. Don't waste your $57 on this. It has an unpleasant odor and takes a long time to clean the pool. If it worked the way it was supposed to, that would be great, but it's not for me.

Pros
  • Professional customer service
Cons
  • Some little things

Pros – Print quality is excellent and after curing it is mostly gummy. Cons - Resin is very sticky. Sometimes it will stick to the FEP film rather than the build plate, resulting in defective prints. The concern is that the FEP film will stretch and wear out faster as a result. Coating the FEP film with petroleum jelly seems to help, but only works with 1 press at a time. If the print is successful, it will be difficult to separate it from the build plate. Cleaning is more difficult than…

Hit and miss with this resin.

I bought this resin for myself for the first time and went to the settings with all the recommendations. I printed them near the plate. I think this resin shows promise, but if you try it rely on some trial and error to get good results. worked, there were two out of four bad samples. Of the 12 covers I've tried to print so far, I have 2 that will work. I'll update this review if I find a successful install that gives consistent results.
