    waste of money. Fits computer accessories and peripherals

    I love these cords for my car because they roll up and it's so nice I don't have to worry about the cord hanging off my console. I bought the same cable from Marshalls about 5 years ago and it ONLY stopped working before I ordered this one, the wires must be in, the retractable part still works. So again I specifically looked for this brand of retractable cord thinking it would just be reliable. I had it for two weeks before the retractable part broke and won't retract. I didn't even use it…

    That thing is such a piece of shit. Broke right after I took it out.

    This thing is complete crap. Broke right after unpacking. The retract cord is stuck, DESPITE the instructions for the letter T. These things are pita because if you don't pull evenly on each side, they'll get stuck and you won't be able to retract them. Some are better than this and more forgiving than others. That's definitely not one of them. STAY AWAY

    Two Broken in less than 3 months

    This is my second retractable cord from this company and both broke in less than 3 months. The former has been kept in my car and the latter next to my bed, with minimal movement and wear. One day I noticed that my phone wasn't charging and on closer inspection I noticed that the tip that connected to the phone immediately detached. I love the retractable aspect of this product but unfortunately it doesn't last! Learn my lesson and don't buy another one this time!

    Most 3 star products I've ever bought

    They work. And charging and Carplay. But there's nothing good about them. They are bigger than I would like and the cord is a bit shorter. Each time they seem to close, but not very well. He just doesn't do his job well. Look for something a little better, even if it's a little more expensive.

    Doesn't retreat. on cables and connectors

    I bought this item to clean the center console of my car. What I didn't like was that the cord kept dangling. After about two weeks, the withdrawal no longer works. I have to manually pull the cable into the spool. The overall design could be greatly improved/simplified if instead of the pull and retract, there was a button on the spool that would cause the retract when the pull and retract stopped working. I would not recommend this product just because the design intent fails.

    Worked fine for 2-3 years and then suddenly stopped working altogether.

    update July 2020 crashing after 2 years of weekly use. Doesn't charge my iPad anymore. Apple Cord works fine. Sigh. Worked great while it lasted.——Cheap and works great. It doesn't look terrible either, so that's a bonus. I have this in my nightstand drawer plugged into a USB power hub for my iPad. Robust construction. Good price. I would like to be able to pay a little more for something a little better quality and made of aluminium, but haven't found this yet.

    Zipper end is too big in most cases

    Pulls in well. The problem is the zipper end doesn't work with my iPhone rescue case. while it works with the Otterbox Defener Case for iPad Pro. I have a retractable cord version from Monoprice that works great with my cases but seems to be out of stock for a while. Hopefully they get it back in stock soon.

    It's a piece of junk.

    This product claims to be retractable, but it is so poorly constructed that you have to fiddle with it to retract and then open it again. It gets stuck and tends to be a mess. I've had a similar product in the past that worked well so it should be this product and not the overall design. I sent it back and want to buy something else.

    Poor durability - lightning cable

    Previously bought one of these from a shop (was an older model). These new cables are not suitable. The biggest problem I've noticed is that the cable-to-plug connections are perpendicular to the lightning plug end, where they were parallel in the past. I'm not sure if this was the cause of the durability issue, but I've already had to throw out one of these cables after it stopped working.
