Not made for wide feet

The concept is great. The problem is getting them on. I have wide feet. Usually swollen. Can't put them on with the packs in and getting the packs in once on us nearly impossible. You would need someone to help if you have mobility or hand issues. I'm very disappointed. That being said once we got them on they feel amazing. I think so is a design flaw.

Pros
  • Great product for foot and tendon pain. Fits great. Quick to freeze and long lasting.
Cons
  • May not provide enough coverage for larger or more severe injuries

Great socks for helping with MS related issues.

I have MS, and one if my most annoying symptoms is a burning/tingling sensation in my feet at night. These socks have helped so much! They cool down the burning so that I can sleep. One tip: If you store the ice packs in the freezer they get too cold and you will feel like you're getting frostbite. But keeping them in the refrigerator doesn't make them cold enough.(imo) So take them out of the freezer. Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes then put them on. Nice and cold without turning your…

Pros
  • Arch Supports
Cons
  • May not be hypoallergenic for users with sensitive skin

Instant relief good for me

Finally something comfortable to cool my hot feet. The second I put them on I knew they were exactly what I was looking for. I bought extra ice pad inserts from reviews that they don’t stay cold. They feel wonderful on tired feet.

Pros
  • Can be adjusted for personalized fit
Cons
  • May not be as effective for reducing foot odor

Not returnable: my feedback

I ordered these because I'm going through chemo to help with neuropathy side effects. They were too small even though a small/medium said it would fit up to size 9. I wear a size 7. But they weren't tight enough to cool my toes. It also said eligible for return so when I tried to initiate a return, it said item not returnable. I called Walmart customer service and they are going to give me a refund.

Pros
  • Comes in two sizes for optimal fit
Cons
  • May not fit well with certain types of clothing

Perfect for 9 months pregnant foot swelling

My wife has had intense swelling and pain in her feet for the last few months of pregnancy and these have been incredible help to her. She will wear them for 30+ minutes at a time and says they really help with both swelling and keeping her joint pain down in her toes. They are a definite purchase if you have foot swelling!

Pros
  • Satisfied with the product very helpful during chemo
Cons
  • May be too cold for some individuals

Love these in my review

So much easier than an ice foot bath. I work on my feet all day on a hard floor and these feel wonderful. I'm a size 7 and they fit well. If I was using them for heal pain, however, I'd probably need the larger size as the icy part stops about mid-heal. Very easy to slip on and off and I love the option of different "pockets" and cool pack slip ins to cool different areas of my feet.

Pros
  • Can be used alongside other forms of therapy
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use during pregnancy

I wanted to love this!

Seam ripped on the first use! I had foot surgery and was tired of icing my foot and just wanted to lay back and relax without the icepack falling off. While very comfortable and soothing, disappointed the seam is on it's way to more tearing and my foot is only a size women's 8🤔

Pros
  • Provides quick relief for foot injuries
Cons
  • May not be as effective for inflammation of the heel

Good foot pack best in my review

I would have given this a 5 as it is easy to use but it does not retain the cold. I am using this during chemo and I need it 20 mins. on 20 off. It was done after one cycle.

Pros
  • Sizing: Small/Medium fits Women's shoe sizes 7 to 12 US & Men's shoe sizes 5 to 10 US. One pair. Use as socks for plantar fasciitis women, soothe socks for neuropathy pain, or as a reusable ice bag.
Cons
  • May be difficult to put on and take off

keep reading negative reviews

First, only one sock was usable - the other sewn shut (per other reviewers). The reason I gave it 2 stars vs. 1 is because I only needed it on one foot (with a broken bone). Second, it was WAY too small; I wear size 8 shoes. While I was able to one pad under my foot and a small one in the top outside pocket there were better solutions for my problem.

Pros
  • Helps break up scar tissue, increasing mobility
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with a history of foot injuries

Not really sized correctly!

The socks are not really sized properly. I have small feet and they are a little too big on me. I am a size 5 1/2 shoe and because they are a little big they do not fit snugly enough. Other than the sizing, I really like these socks. I only use them at night at bedtime to help my burning hot feet, I seem to fall asleep a little easier because my feet aren’t blazingly hot and uncomfortable. I do have to remove them when the gel packs warm up because they are big and make me uncomfortable so it…

Pros
  • Helps reduce painful inflammation
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions

Easy method to ice feet, used for son's Sever's

Bought these socks for my 11 year old son who suffers from sever's. He gets pain in his heels and has some days where he struggles to walk with the pain. Part of treatment is to ice the area 3 times a day. Trying to wrap a flexible icepack around his heels with an ace bandage wasn't always successful or convenient. We tried these socks. They work well. He uses the long ice pad on the bottom of his feet, and the short pad on the back of his Achilles heel. When he elevates his feet, his heels…

Pros
  • Can be used for post-workout recovery to help reduce soreness
Cons
  • May not be able to provide relief for all types of plantar fasciitis

Pretty good, could be better

I appreciate that you get two different sizes of gel packs. I’m using these with the gel packs in the freezer. I find it a little difficult to get the longer full sized gel pack into the bottom of the sock once it’s frozen. The way that the sock and pockets are sewn, it doesn’t quite open wide enough to get the frozen gel pack in without having to bend it. I can get it in, so that’s all that matters, and it works about as well as can be expected.

Pros
  • Fits comfortably on foot
Cons
  • May not be as effective for post-surgery recovery
