It works (GCA1), looking to improve, for fun.

I found that it works as described. I took espresso out of a Nespresso capsule and used it for the maiden voyage of the reusable pod. It worked as expected, and then some. What I mean is that the amount of espresso grounds you put in is good for a single shot. The bar code is for a double shot (which I ordered intentionally). So I end up "pulling" a shot and a half so that the grounds don't get over extracted. (I use the espresso for iced coffee, so the milk provides some error tolerance.) The…

Pros
  • Convenient for those who want a quick cup of coffee without the hassle of traditional brewing
Cons
  • The capsules may require some trial and error to find the right grind size, dose, and brewing process

Good choice!: my feedback

Purchased this to try with my new Nespresso machine. Both delivered on the same day, so was new use for both :)First I used the Nespresso pods that are made for the machine, just to see if they were ip to par with all reviews. Espresso was good with good crema. I then opened a pod and used the espresso powder from the pod to fill the refillable pod. As noted in previous reviews, the Capmesso did not use the entire amount of espresso powder from the pod - but did use most of it. Tamped down, and

Pros
  • Save Your Wallet, Save the Earth
Cons
  • The capsules may not be suitable for busy households or offices due to frequent refilling and cleaning

Good flavor, tough price

If you tamp your grounds, this pod makes better espresso than the pods because you can use good coffee instead of the stuff that Nestle sweeps off the floor for their pods. The pod works flawlessly and makes very good coffee. The difficulty is the cleaning. First, when the pod is done, it's scalding hot as you'd expect so you have to fish it out of the built in trash bin. I can work with that. Now when you have to clean it, you either need to burn yourself trying to clean the hot pod (even…

Pros
  • Reduces overall packaging waste associated with traditional coffee brewing methods
Cons
  • The capsules may not brew a consistent and adequate amount of coffee, leading to wastage

*capmesso offered me half off this review*I've been a loyal nespresso-ist for two years. i grew tired of buying sleeves so i decided to recap them on my own: clean existing pods out, purchase and grind coffee, and recap them, saving $.50/pod. when i got tired of that, i started seeing capmesso on amazon but wanted to wait for more reviews. a few months later, i bit the bullet and bought it. so far so good!i buy my beans from trader joes and grind there- first setting for espresso. Store in a…

Pros
  • Easy operation
Cons
  • The capsules do not preserve the aroma and crema of the coffee as the original capsules do

Works fine for my opinion

These work just fine in my VertuoLine machine. Some tips that helped me: If your coffee grinder has a coarse/fine scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the finest, set it on a 2 or 3. The coffee does not have to be the finest possible grind. If it's too fine, the water flow could be impeded.Tamp down each little scoop. My first time using, I only tamped down once after I had filled the entire pod. The coffee was too weak. I tried again and tamped down for each scoop and that made a huge difference in…

Pros
  • Best Version(Rich Crema)
Cons
  • The capsules may leak or loosen during brewing, causing a mess and wasting coffee

Does the job best in my review

Works well but wasn't expecting rhe barcode to be a sticker. This one also much heavier than the one i got from the BRBHOM Store. I won't be using this one anymore out of concern that the heaviness may shorten the lifespan of the coffee machine. There was no noticeable difference in how they produced coffee.

Pros
  • Compatible with a range of coffee blends and brands
Cons
  • The capsules may not suit users who prefer varied coffee blends and flavors, as they have to refill and empty the capsules

Save money! - my new review

I really enjoy my Nespresso machine but don’t like having to spend unnecessary amounts of money on pods. This reusable capsule is solid. It is well made and comes with a brush to wipe away coffee residue. It also comes with a scooper to fill it with coffee grinds. Overall works well. I can usually pack In 3 scoops of coffee, however, a Nespresso pod packs in more coffee grinds. I guess this is a cheaper consultation prize to the over priced pods.

Pros
  • Made with high-quality materials for durability
Cons
  • The capsules may not be suitable for users who prefer consistent coffee quality and taste

Nespresso GAME CHANGER!

I almost didn't buy this because of the mixed reviews, but I needed a reusable pod to use my own coffee since I wasn't liking the ones from Nespresso themselves. I picked up espresso beans from Starbucks and had them ground at the store- they just did an espresso grind. Super easy to use the pod and I suddenly love my Nespresso machine again, my drinks taste just like Starbucks drinks now! My only qualm is that it's annoying to clean it every time as I make one every day, but I may just need to

Pros
  • No need to constantly purchase new capsules from the store
Cons
  • The capsules may not seal properly, leading to oxygen exposure and stale coffee

Saves money! for my opinion

I love that I don't have to buy the pods for my Nespresso anymore. It works great with Cafe Bustello Espresso.Tip: don't pack your coffee down so much. Just lightly press.Complaints: can be messy. Not great with regular coffee (or at least I haven't figured it out.) And I hate having to retrieve it from my Nespresso waste compartment each time I open the machine (especially to clean it or reuse it right away because it gets really hot.)--a solution to this problem could be purchasing…

Pros
  • Environmentally friendly - no more single-use plastic capsules
Cons
  • The capsules may not be worth the investment for users who drink only a few cups of coffee a day or week

Got a Nespresso Evoluo for Xmas, and quickly realized the coffee from Nespresso was really not that good. Thinking maybe I got a bad variety pack, but even after making a new purchase, i just have not liked most of the Nespresso pods I have tried. After more and more disappointing pods, was wondering if it was just cheap coffee, or the process ruining the flavor. I needed to try with something I know and love, like illy. Only problem, no illy pods. Then I pondered the cost per pod for bad…

Pros
  • Worry-free Material
Cons
  • The capsules are not compatible with Vertuo Next, which is the newest Vertuoline model in the market

Very happy with this purchase

Even though the Nespresso capsules are recyclable, the cost of $1.10 per capsule is a little steep given how much coffee our house consumes. I looked at this re-usable capsule and a couple other brands, and decided to go with this one. The first week had a little bit of a learning curve: how tightly should I pack it, are these grounds too coarse or too fine (too coarse and you get weak coffee, too fine and it won't brew at all), do I actually need the little brush to clean it every time (you…

Pros
  • Easy to use and clean
Cons
  • The capsules may not offer the same convenience and speed as pre-filled capsules, making them less suitable for rushed mornings

The pod works well. It takes me 1 minute to load and pack the coffee. I do it over an Illy coffee can top to keep the espresso coffee grinds from making a mess over the counter. The foam is just as good as the pods when you use finely ground espresso, and you'd think you were having one of the pod generated coffees. However, the taste is a bit flat. I've tried Illy and Lavazza espresso (the Illy was pre ground, and the Lavazza I ground from the beans). Neither of them is generating the depth of

Pros
  • This is so well made. Solid. Easy to use. Highly recommended.
Cons
  • The refillable pods may not fit all Vertuoline coffee makers, and buyers will need to ensure compatibility first

Needs a stamper in my review

Great product, however needs a stamper that fits perfect. It's just a little smaller then regular stampers and won't fit. Great quality stainless steel.

Pros
  • Small Appliance Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • The capsules may cause inconsistent and weak coffee, compromising the quality and flavor of the brew

Great product: my feedback

I love it. It's easier to use than I thought. U kinda gotta experiment with how much grinds to add as far as flavor but that's personal preference. I got it to exactly how I like my coffee and use it almost every day now.

Pros
  • Reduces carbon footprint by eliminating excess waste
Cons
  • The capsules may not be compatible with all coffee blends and roasts, limiting users' choices

Great way to save money

Not as creamy as we used to Nesspreso Scuro esspreso but very good. I used to buy only Starbucks esspresso coffee im bean and brew it with Breville esspreso machine. Now Iam using it again just with Nesspreso.

Pros
  • Full Cup
Cons
  • The capsules may require specific grind sizes and measurements, making it challenging to achieve the perfect cup
