Much Much better now

Revised review:I wrote my original review (below) in October, 2021. During that period, COVID-19 was burning through populations around the world. Factories were shutting down, supply chains were disrupted, and customer service functions were severely effected by staff illnesses and operational closures. These problems crosscut all sectors of economies around the world. In a micro view, GoTrax was apparently effected as much as any other business.I say this because my first GoTrax G Pro, which…

Love this scooter! in my review

We got this scooter to bring along with us in our RV. We love it! We were very impressed with the customer service at Gotrax! They honored a discount and reached out to us upon receipt of the scooter to make sure everything thing was to our satisfaction. We decided to purchase through Gotrax after our son got a different scooter and a hover board……both are great fun!We can’t say enough about the Gotrax customer service. We had an issue with the scooter and reached out. After a few exchanges…

Portable, suspension, speed, charge,safety

I saw this amazing electric scooter that my friend was riding the other day and i immediately bought it. It was very easy to assemble and has awesome display of features on the screen. The quality display of speed, charge and gear selection is very good. Compared to my 2 wheeler which I owed before, this 3 wheeler has very stable suspension and carries heavier weight. The price is very reasonable based on the smoothness in ride, reliability and portable to carry on the back of my car. What I…

Pros
  • Keeps a long charge and is fast. Has 2 speed settings.
Cons
  • Expensive initial investment

3 wheel scooter safety

My boys they loved this scooter, it was amazing with the 3 wheel they every have a lot fun with it. We took for park and one close to our homes market. Of course this quality have been little more heavy than the two wheel scooter. But that will be more safety. My boys play on his friends scooter with a two wheel he just got falling down once. That’s why I will glad I just fine one this good product lol. It has 15.5 MPH & 24 miles range. Works great

I look forward to my daily commute

It works great. Fits my use case 100% so it is awesome if you know what you are getting into.Built like a tank. Maneuvers a little heavily but that is appreciated since I'm not in it for the thrills, but rather for a comfy, convenient 2 mile ride to work and back. Its pretty heavy, which can be a problem if you need to haul it anywhere more than a few steps. But that also helps it feel safe and substantial on the road. I've used a few of the rental options and sometimes they can feel flimsy and

Pros
  • Works great, perfect to commuting to and from work. A little heavy but 100% recommended for short trips.
Cons
  • It's too big.. the shall have been able to be removed for easy charging

Not sure If it worth the price, but it's a damn good scooter

I rode a hiboy max 3 and some rental ninbots before. This is the only $800+ scooter I tried, so I'm not sure how it compares to similarly priced ones. It sure is the best I've used tho.Pros:Tricycle:Tricycle has advantages. You won't be forced down by dumb people walking parallelly since you can ride stably at walking speed. It's way easier to push, can even act as a trolly. You have enough paddle space to stand with feet parallel. And in theory if you run over ice by accident, one wheel…

Great Scooter,loves it.

I am writing these after using this scooter for over a monthHonestly, it does seem a little bit heavy for a girl under 1.6 meter. But I don't need to move it from downstairs to upstairs or upstairs to downstairs. I just need to push it out of the garage so it's not a problem at all.I have bad balance, that's why I chose 3 wheels.I was pleasantly surprised by the stability of this scooter.I need to go to school or work by this scooter several times a day .The battery is very durable, I only need

Only product in its class - bought one and then another

Bought one of these after experiencing a knee injury. Needed a scooter I could use at a slow pace while riding next to my wife during our nighly 5-mile walks. The 2-wheel scooters didn't have stability at this slow pace whereas this 3-wheeler does with ease. The cruise control at any speed above 2mph is a really useful feature. The scooter has two-speed settings L1=1-9mph and L2=1-15mph. I ride mainly at L1 and get about 10-15 miles on a charge. We like the scooter so much, we bought a second…

Not for the handicap And you must have balance

I bought this because I thought I wouldn't have the balance But was I wrong I kept falling over I wanted to use this to get around Too bad it didn't come with 4 wheels maybe I would be able to ride it. I have Cerebral palsy I have balance issues But maybe it's just me I'm just trying to find a great scooter electric bike that I could ride without having a problem I bought this basically on the one review I read about the guy that has balanced issues and clumsyness But it wasn't for me revain…

A little heavy for us girls but it's still worth the try.

I was hesitant to purchase it because of the 54lbs it weights since 8 live on a 2 floor walk in up but I decided to try it and if was too difficult I was going to return it. A month later I have decided to keep it. It is such a smooth ride and the bike lock feature is a huge plus. I will have muscles by the fall, I guess it's a double plus. I love it! And wouldn't trade it for the world.Update 6 months after purchase I'm still in love with it, I have tried it in light snow and it did great…

Don't charge - my new review

Had for only 6 months now and already it won't hold a charge on anything, im pissed because this was suppose to save me money on transport for my sister now I have a useless scooter I can't even sell

Pros
  • ‎ZHEJIANG TAOTAO VEHICLES CO.,LTD
Cons
  • Takes up storage space

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Super heavy and came completely broken

If you still want to get it better make sure you can deal with its weight. If you live on a ground floor and dont need to take it up the stairs, it may work for you.

Pros
  • ‎G PRO
Cons
  • Requires charging after every use

I did not expect this tomfoolery from Gotrax, nothing justifies this price tag, takes one less than half the distance (it is heavy) of their cheapest model (at $250), and the rear suspension is much too loose for the type, you must be able to effectively use a 2 wheeled scooter (luckily, I can) or you will fall off this thing because it will try to fall down while still or moving slowly if anyone is on it, negating the purpose of a 3 wheeled vehicle entirely.

Pros
  • ‎EABS + Disc Braking
Cons
  • Not suitable for multiple riders

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great e-scooter, but I had to return it

Rear suspension fell apart on me on my first ride outside of my neighborhood. GoTrax didn't respond to my repair request, so revain was good about letting me return it. Reported range was also much less than advertised. I weigh 175. I got 15 miles out of a full charge until the battery wouldn't even keep me it 5 mph. I would buy it again if they fix the range and put locking nuts on the rear suspension.

Pros
  • Safe & Comfortable Riding - G Pro equipped with EABS and 3 mechanical disc braking system. 10" front pneumatic tire and dual 8.5" rear pneumatic tires, 2 suspension system provide fantastic comfort and stability, even on rough surfaces or speed bumps.
Cons
  • May not provide enough exercise for daily movement needs

Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of terrain

Three wheel cruiser!

I bought this scooter because it is unique given its three-wheel design and rear suspension. Also, I plan to use this scooter to commute to university. First, it rides like a two-wheel scooter that is you need to be able to balance - not a problem this is my 4th E scooter. Next, this scooter is of rock-hard construction I weigh around 220 pounds 6’0” tall and it provided a solid ride cushioned by those rear springs! It is slow (16 mph) but the power delivery feels reliable. My only complaint is

Pros
  • ‎User Manual, Charger
Cons
  • May not fit all body types comfortably

nice electric scooter

Very well designed electric scooter, although a bit heavy, it is much smoother to drive than a two wheel electric scooter.350 watt electric motor, enough power, I like it very much.

Pros
  • Scooters
Cons
  • Requires additional safety precautions

Balance Balance Balance

What I love about this scooter:1.I could stand on the pedal with my feet side by side, this makes me more comfortable and stable. Most of the scooter need you to stand 1-foot in the front and 1foot in the back.2. 10" front pneumatic tire and dual 8.5" rear pneumatic tires it just keeps you more stable when you are in rough road. I live in NYC; you see all the little pop hole all the time. This beast keeps me balance and stable.3. Digital Lock is one of my favors. When you turn on, you need a…

Value for money: my feedback

Really powerful scooter… I like the stability and speed… I was not expecting the material to be this good and heavy, but it is … value for money

Pros
  • ‎Pneumatic
Cons
  • Risk of theft, despite anti-theft features

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3 wheels, way to go

Stable. 3 wheels option definitely is a winner. I am not that balance guy but it just works for me even if I stop. Same for my son he lives this one more then 2 wheels scooter he got. And wide platform actually fits both of us. So if you are afraid of 2 wheels and have balance issues this one if for you for sure. I mostly use it in a community and don’t use anti thief features but I believe PIN and the lock won’t be superfluous.

Pros
  • ‎Aluminum
Cons
  • Not suitable for off-road terrain
