Description of Enhanced Robinair 75260 Coolant Refiller Featuring Air Lock Prevention

Robinair's Coolant Refiller uses a compressor powered vacuum to completely fill vehicle cooling systems in seconds without creating troublesome air bubbles. Vacuum opens the thermostat, eliminates air in the system, then fills cooling system, including heater core, completely - no bleeding required. Use to determine cooling system integrity by checking for system leaks under vacuum. Universal, fits-all cone adapter works with any radiator or overflow bottle filler neck, eliminating the need for adapters. Built-in gauge protector protects against inadvertent damage; tool includes clear hose, filter, and instructions

Works Great: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

Works Great. The sensor didn't quite go into the green zone, but it still worked perfectly. Changed coolant in my Shelby GT500 and no problem. Made of plastic, so handle with care. To connect the compressor, you need to purchase an additional connector.

Works great except for volts.

This works great except for one thing. The only reason I bought this in the first place. I work at a dealership and I work on Chevy Volts. It is important to remove all air from the battery cooling system. So the reason for this purchase, except it doesn't work with the smaller volt bottleneck. It works well on all other Chevy vehicles but not the Volt. Spring.

Excellent for vacuuming any cooling system

This tool is excellent for vacuuming almost any vehicle cooling system. I work as a Ford tech and haven't had a degas bottle or radiator that this cone fitting wouldn't work with, and my coolant magazine just flushes and doesn't pull a vacuum, so this works great. The only downside is that when you suck coolant into the tool it comes out through the vent and gets 4 stars for that.

Fantastic tool. - Air conditioning line repair tools

I used this tool to drain and fill our Toyota Highlander and Nissan Maxima. This tool makes filling the system very easy. This allows you to drain and refill coolant every 3-5 years. Works perfectly with my 2.5 hp compressor. and an 8 gallon tank. It barely made it to "25" but was green and worked like a charm. I filled a 5 gallon bucket with 1 gallon distilled water and 1 gallon Toyota Red (concentrate). 2 gallons was a lot and I have 1/2 gallon left.

Cheap plastic valve breaks easily

Bought because of the Robinair brand. Spent a little more hoping for a quality product. The device worked perfectly for three fillings of the car. In the fourth car, it was noticed that the vacuum cleaner was not working properly. When the coolant charge hose becomes immersed in liquid, it begins to suck it into the hose. The plastic valve did nothing. When the screw was removed from the small handle I found out why it wasn't working. The plastic shaft had snapped off the valve and the handle…

Saves time! - Air Conditioner Line Repair Tools

I was really doubting whether to buy an air bridge. So much so that I decided to buy this device instead of the much more expensive snap-on device. Since then I have realized that I made the right choice. The vacuum gauge will show you if there are any leaks in the system. The pneumatic lift creates a vacuum throughout the coolant system in 20-50 seconds, depending on size, and then allows coolant to flow in when the vacuum is released, making it easier to bleed the system. I have found that…

Worth the money good for air conditioner repair tools

I've spent hours and hours spitting a bubble out of the second generation Nissan Xterra. last year or so. Eventually I got fed up and bought this vacuum bleeder after looking at it for a few months. Now I'm upset that I didn't buy it sooner. This makes filling the system very easy and completely eliminates air bubbles as far as I can tell a week later (it used to be very obvious in cold weather - no heat was getting into the cabin unless the gas was on and the thermostat was on was turned off).

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I really don't like it everything is fine

I've been wiring for about 20 years and I've always had a hard time spitting a cooling system. I have an old Land Rover Discovery 2 and this truck does not have a cooling system due to a complicated coolant hose routing. It takes me days and all sorts of tricks to fully burst the system. I used this last night and it cost me everything, but maybe 5 minutes to completely fill the cooling system and make sure there isn't an air pocket that can create engine hot spots is priceless. It connects to…
