Great Videos!

Bought these for my 8 year old daughter (she is small for her age) who loves the color green. :) She loves them and I'm very happy with them. They are of good quality, easy to put on and take off, strong buckles, the wheels roll smoothly and the skates are easy to adjust. I really like that they are adjustable so they really do fit a variety of shoe sizes - the foot of inline skates expands so they can be larger or smaller. I would buy them again!

Great quality - kids roller skates

My son's feet are too small for the smallest size (he is 3 years old) which is not surprising. They fit him exactly as I expected. too large. He loves her very much, although he learns very quickly. We gave him this to supplement his skating lessons and the weekly improvements are amazing. The quality of the skates is excellent. I like Bauer skates (as well as hockey skates) and would compare their quality to Bauer skates but they are much cheaper. You get a much higher value from this brand.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Not worth the money. break easily

***Update*** I have contacted Roller Derby about this and they have sent me a new pair. They lasted longer than the first pair but unfortunately after a few weeks they started having the same problem. I bought a red pair and an orange pair for my other kids and they have held up all the time. These green ones seem to be made differently. Made like no other. Too bad. Three weeks in use only on weekends and one roller broke! Completely unacceptable. I feel like they should be a much better…

Good product for the price

I bought this Roller Derby for my 9 year old son's birthday. He can turn them on and off without help. They fit well in a size 2 which is the size of his tennis shoes. The wheels really roll. He loves them and has probably skated about 15 hours already. I've noticed wheel wear. My daughter's Bladerunner brand wheels seem to last longer as she has been using them for a year with less noticeable wheel wear. The Bladerunners were $65 as opposed to the $40 I paid for the Roller Derby brand. So in…

Outstanding quality and style

My son broke his old skates. I wanted something economical yet durable. I chose this one. The design is great and looks very cool. The color is bright. It is easy to adjust, durable but not heavy. At first I thought I might have to return them because they looked small and tight on my feet. That's when my little kid told me to read the instructions! Yes, read and become enlightened! I figured out how to increase boot size, problem solved! I then found that these skates actually fit within the…

You have found the right pair!

Let's talk about the price first. The price, as you say, is LEGAL! Go to your local valley mark or destination and see what kind of junk they have compared to that. my son loves her. I lubricated the bearings and they spin smoothly and quickly. The wheels are rubber, not hard plastic. Nice adjustable boot and stylish look. I wish skates were like this when I was a kid. Overall I can't understand 9/10 but I don't know anything perfect so 9/10 son wears youth 2s and he claims they fit well and…

Brake pads worn out within 2 months.

The skates themselves fit well and they like that the skates are adjustable in four sizes. So far the wheels and trunk seem solid but the brake pad is already worn down to the bolt - my twins don't brake unnecessarily but it's gone and we can't safely use them anymore. My twins had another pair of brake shoes that lasted 3 years (a different brand) and we have never had to change the pads on them, in fact we can keep them for our youngest daughter to reuse. Unfortunately I cannot recommend…
