Description of πŸ’ͺ High-Quality Rough Country Front Extended Stainless Brake Lines for 87-91 Chevy C/K Blazer Suburban GMC Jimmy, 4-6" Lift - Model 89360S

DOT approved brake line kits offer the necessary extra length to install your application, perfect for anyone who wants to swap out poor performing or decaying factory brake lines. Stainless Steel replacements offer superior protection and a seriously long lifespan. Braided stainless steel exterior keeps your lines free from off-road debris, rocks, and mud that can penetrate factory rubber lines. Durable outer layer prevents expansion of the internal Teflon layer. High Quality hollow fasteners at both ends of each brake line and S at both ends provide a leak-free flow path. Backed by Rough Country's Lifetime Replacement.

Very good, good value

I didn't like the blunt mount that does nothing. Rip it out and throw it away. Otherwise, they appear to be stunning breaklines.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Appearance

DOES NOT FIT as described.

Ordered these brake hoses for a 1987 GMC JIMMY with 4" lift. They do NOT fit as advertised. Behind the return window so I'm stuck with them. Shame as they don't fit my car .

Pros
  • Brake system
Cons
  • Not the best

Easy Install on 1990 Suburban

Appears to work well. Fits my 1990 Chevrolet Suburban easily. My only concern is what to do with the little extra slack I have. They come with these brackets which I'm not sure what they're supposed to do. I ended up loosely attaching them to my shocks until I found a permanent fix.

Pros
  • Hoses, Lines & Fittings
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

Proper Application

Hoses came with a metal bracket which is not required for 4WD applications. To me the straight axles look like they were designed for later models with independent suspension.

Pros
  • Backed by lifetime replacement for rough country
Cons
  • Available in white only

I like this setup even better

is incorrectly installed on the chassis. had to go to the store and buy nuts because it didn't work with that existing equipment. I actually like this setup better, but I made it up. No copper O-rings were included. Came with some sort of mount that had no instructions. I have a 1986 GMC K15 Commuter.

Pros
  • The stainless steel outer braid protects your lines from off-road debris, rocks and dirt that can get into the factory rubber lines.
Cons
  • Exchange Availability
