But works great. - Networking Products

As the name suggests, everything works great. You can enable and disable ports as needed. Comes with a 3ft data cable and power cable. The problem is that when something is plugged in and the port is enabled, the LEDs next to the active ports blink rapidly. A flashing light gives the impression that something is wrong. I'm thinking of finding a way to dim the lights so the blinking light doesn't distract my peripheral vision. Deducted 2 stars only because of the flashing lights.

Great USB hub with a really useful function

I have bought many USB hubs in my time. They all do pretty much the same thing. However, this one actually had one feature that I found very useful: an individual on/off button for each port. I've used USB hubs to connect my mouse/keyboard to my laptop at home and at work. However, I have found that one of my RGB mice still lights up even when I unplug the hub from my laptop. The weird thing is that even if I unplug the hub, it's still on. So every time I had to unplug/replug the mouse from the

Great USB hub with OTG support

my Motorola One Hyper smartphone running Android 10. With screen mirroring on a smart TV running Google's Android TV operating system, the phone works more like a computer than like a phone, which was my goal. I can control the phone and the applications running on it much better with a real keyboard and mouse than with the phone's touch panel display (screen). For example, in chat apps, I can type much faster than anyone else in the chat. It also helps a lot with text editing apps. Obviously…

Was only able to turn on 2 of the 4 devices I need to run this laptop.

So I have a gaming laptop that I use as a flow controller. The problem with the laptop is that I only have 3 USB A 3.1 ports and 1 USB C port, not enough ports as I also have a USB mixer and another USB camera to connect. So, 4 HDMI capture devices, all USB 2.0 but require power. 1 USB mixer 1 USB camera 1 Blue tooth dongle. 4. So I buy this USB adapter. Wow, I thought it was powered separately and states verbatim that it is designed to access powered USB and is compatible with us USB 1.1 and…

Very surprised by this unknown brand

I needed a powered USB hub for my Mac. Only 4 knots. Nothing too expensive. However, I wanted to get the best bang for my buck. I didn't want to pay too much for a well known brand when it's not necessary. After researching various Revain hubs for 30 minutes, I came across this little guy who didn't have a great purchase history but had a good price. At the time of purchase there were only 5 reviews and all were rated 5 stars. That was enough to motivate me to blindly buy this hub. There's…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Previously we would connect a 500g hard drive directly to the TV and play videos with the Roku Media Player app viewed. This worked well until we realized we needed a larger hard drive. I bought a 4TB drive to hold all our files but Roku Media Player didn't recognize it. I googled "Hard drive not detected?" and the most common problem was that the TV source couldn't power the drive and so a powered USB hub was needed to provide enough power. I ordered it in the hope that this would solve this…
