Easy removal of corn kernels

I love this gadget. for so many years I had to use a very sharp knife to separate the cores and make a huge mess. Then I tried a device where you push down on the very sharp edges of the plunger and the beans fly all over the place! Then I say this gadget. It contained cores with almost no clutter. I bought one. My daughter saw this the other day and said she wants something similar. I bought her one. It's really easy to use and easy to clean. There's only one thing you need to remember, or 3…

Due to a simple design flaw, pieces of plastic fall into the corn.

This is a great idea for anyone who needs to remove corn on the cob. I ordered two, one for my dad who has only a few front teeth left at 95 and one for my young grandkids who love corn but have not yet mastered the art of eating corn on the cob. Both worked fine the first time, but with additional use, the yellow plastic pins on the bottom were partially sheared off by a metal bar that removes the cores. Tiny bits of yellow plastic fell into a pile of corn and couldn't be found until we took a

Not for gardeners on kitchen tools and equipment

Don't waste your money and corn on this. I watched the video and ordered. It broke right out of the box. Revain immediately replaced him. I then used it for my corn crop. It was impractical and difficult to use unless the plunger was perfectly straight and just the right size. Well, whose corn crops are all perfectly even and the same size. The process got so complicated that I ended up just using a steel cutting tube without the rest of the plastic. I've canned it and eaten fresh and it's a…

This device requires strong hands to operate

I really enjoyed ordering and trying this product. Ouch! What a disappointment as it turned out. The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was that it looked like it was a "return". The box was badly dented and not sealed with tape like a new product. The two things I found most difficult when attempting to use RSVP were: press the metal blade against the corn, particularly the end of the cob, and try to squeeze the yellow cob to push the cob out. I'm well into my 50's and it's been…

If you can love the tool, this will definitely be one of them.

Before I got this tool, I peeled the cores off the piston like most people do with a sharp knife. I placed the cob on a cutting board, placed a knife on the top of the cob, and ran the knife down the length of the cob in a straight cut. Since it was a straight cut I would have gotten about 2 full rows of kernels (if I had positioned the knife correctly and made a straight cut along the cob) and the rows on either side were halved without getting the whole kernel. Sometimes it was "Oops, the ear
