Great price for great reels. They flex well and ride smoothly.

Great price for great reels. They flex well and ride smoothly as is. Much better than Rough Country. I've given the height, maybe a little more, but no less certain. I added some 3.5" rear wings with a 1" fork lifter and my XJ was perfectly level. OK, pick her up

They are great Bronco II springs

Perfect size for a Bronco II with a 4" lift. Gives you much more travel than the stiff springs that come with Ranger car lift kits. Just make sure your steering is in perfect condition (modified K-Link, crossover, pivot kit or Stone Crusher style) otherwise your rig won't be able to handle the massive toe changes you get with these springs . . .

  • Ideal for a small home

The powder coating guarantee is only for 90 days, not for life!

Worked great on my '99 Cherokee Sport. Great product and fits well after cracking rusty bolts. But after 2 years of short term use. (The jeep has been in the garage for 8 months of the year) Very disappointed that Rubicon Express does not guarantee this as it looks like it was only powder coated. But if you look good, they've snapped and gone from 4.5 inches to about 4 inches in height.

5 inch coils on my 97 XJ last year and I was very happy with them

I installed these 4.5 inch coils on my 97 XJ last year and was very happy with them! The ride quality is excellent, I've ridden them about 10,000 times with no issues, including many off-road rides. I highly recommend Rubicon Express products. I also have Rubicon Express back sheets. I chose 3.5 inches in the rear and it fits perfectly, no sagging or squatting under load.

I'll let you know: spares

Fitted it a week ago and had a nice smooth ride for about three days (smooth for xj) then it started acting like a squirrel on bumps. Today I looked underneath and found that the spring on the driver's side has turned into a snug spring that flexes in four different directions! UPDATE!: Rubicon Express sent me a new set of nibs so they are worth their product. The passenger side still works and looks good, maybe I just got a bad one, or maybe the driver's side has a worse angle, hard to tell…

WRONG SPRINGS on coil springs

I put these springs in believing they were 4.5" as advertised, they turned out to be 3.5" springs. I had seizures trying to level my jeep after installation. I finally pulled them back out and spoke to a Rubicon Express technician and was told to measure 21-1/4 OAL. they measured only 20 inches. Very frustrating and now I have to buy another set to get the Jeep where I want it. I have a slightly used set of springs that I don't know the actual size of and didn't pay attention to for some $$ and

2001 XJ Front end raise installation for snow plowing.

As you can see this kit raises the front without question. I bought a kit this spring to raise the front of a Jeep and then add a Meyer snowblower. I have 5 Cherokee snow throwers and this is by far the best spring set. There are no additional components to upgrade or swap out (since the front end drops off after adding the weight). I don't recommend riding like this every day, the travel should be increased unless YOU ADD A SNOW PLOW or a heavy duty bumper and winch system. .Very satisfied…

Only gave 3.5 inches of lift

For starters I have nothing against RE. All my springs are from them and I like the ride quality. My rating is based on my personal experience with these springs and their ride height. I haven't seen many legitimate negative reviews of RE springs so I felt I had to share them. I have an xj jeep that I have worked on a lot. It raises about 4.5 inches with adjustable wishbones (short arms) and mounts to move. When I bought it it had a Rough Country lift kit with an extra leaf. So the rest of the…
