I used this on the plywood floor of my 16ft boat. Carpet retains water and will rot your boat floor if it is wood. For strong adhesion and good thickness I used a brush for the first coat and then a roller for two coats. The plywood was varnished at the factory and the paint started to peel off in a few places.
