Stopped working on 2nd use

Worked great the first time I used it in my Ryobi mower. The 2nd time I used it, fully charged, it worked for 15 minutes and then the battery died. Buy at your own risk. I don't recommend this battery.

Our weed eaters battery failed to work and we took a chance on getting this new battery. it worked great! looking forward to keeping our weed eater a long time.

Did not expect much from this

I've used this battery 4 times on a Ryobi mower. Honestly, I thought it would be dead after two uses. So far it works great for the price. Is it OEM? No. Is it good enough for the price? Yes.

Great Extra Battery

Everybody needs extra, fully charged, batteries when doing yard work. Nothing irritated my husband more than getting 75% done with yard work, before having to wait for the dead battery to charge for a few hours to finish the work. This replacement battery works just like the Ryobi batteries. It fits perfectly in the charger, mower, edger, weedwhacker, and blower while providing just as many hours of use as the name brand battery. It also charges just as quickly. I would purchase again.

BATTERY ONLY LASTED FOR 1 CHARGE

THIS BATTERY ONLY LET ME CHARGE IT ONE TIME. I CAN NOT RECHARGE IT IT IS USELESS AND NOW I AM OUT THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT That's my review.

As good as original

I've used this a few times since getting it. It charges right up on the Ryobi charger. Fits the charger and weed eater like a glove. It seems to run the motor a little faster, but I can't be sure, I can't measure the RPMs. It lasts as least as long as the Ryobi battery. Highly recommended.

Only time will tell, but my original ryobi battery didn't last very long. Time will tell. Also, this was so much less expensive than the ryobi brand.

Cheaper and Longer Lasting Than OEM

Given the other reviews, it seems there are some quality control issues with these batteries. If you get one that works like I did, it works great. Has a much higher battery capacity and my Weedwhacker seems to spin faster. Charges and fits the same as the OEM Ryobi battery. Recommend.

Decent non-OEM substitute battery

This battery works about as good as the OEM in my Ryobi Weed-Whacker and Chainsaw but will not work in my Blower. It appears the locking latch on this battery will not engage on the blower. It stinks that I can't use it for the blower, but it's a spare battery and works in my other Ryobi tools. The price is suitable for a generic. I'll come back to update my review if anything changes my opinion.

Perfect non-OEM Ryobi replacement

This works perfectly. At first, it was tough getting the unit to snap in place in the charging unit. After a few times, not an issue. The tightness relaxed a bit and now it’s just fine.

Better than Original

I've had the Ryobi family of garden tools operating on 40V battery for years. I'm used to batteries expiring and just run out of the ability to hold a recharge. These are, in my opinion, more robust than the original ryobi batteries. I've purchased two. Same thing with the off brand ryobi 20V for drill batteries.

Solid, long-lasting battery.

So far so good. Works great for a good deal of time in both my Ryobi Expand It edger/whacker/brush cutter as well as my new Ryobi leaf blower.I bought the second battery so I could just keep on going when there’s lots to do and so far it’s worked out great.

Because there was no way to contact seller since i received over 30 days ago, I am writing a negative review of this product. Stopped working after 5 uses. Battery life was ok, but not great, when it was working. if you must buy this low quality product, then get the extended warranty.
