Description of Optimized Dimensional Accuracy with SainSmart Flexible Filament

Filament Diameter: 1.75 mm; Shore Hardness: 92A; Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.04 mm;1 kg (approximately 2.2 lbs) per Spool; Vacuumed Sealed with Desiccant; Recommended extruder temperature:195 - 230°C; Recommended platform temperature: 40 - 60°C. Compared to 95A filament, this 92A TPU Filament exhibits the following properties: higher elongation and abrasion resistance, better elasticity with highly reversible deformation and rebound resilience. Low warping and stringing, resistance to oils, greases. Printing 92A Filament requires more tweaking than the 95A ones, but with the profile provided by us (find the product description below), printing with it would be much easier. Compatibility: It is compatible with most FDM printers on the market that use 1.75 mm filament, including SainSmart x Creality, Prusa i3, Monoprice MakerSelect & Qidi, and other RepRap printers. 92A TPU Filament can be used to produce elastomer parts like protective covers and vibration dampeners, widely used in the sectors of electronics, automotive, consumer goods, and sports equipment.

After my first evaluation of the product. I was contacted by Sainsmart who promptly sent me a replacement coil of their regular TPU. I use Sainsmart TPU in multiple colors on multiple printers very often and get great results and easy printing. The quick response and handling from the company was great. I highly recommend your other threads.

Pros
  • 92A TPU Filament can be used to manufacture elastomer parts such as protective coatings and vibration dampeners, which are widely used in electronics, automotive, consumer goods and sports equipment industries.
Cons
  • old

Excellent yarn and excellent customer care from the manufacturer.

I bought this to print something for work and had four failed prints with what I had previously used for the TPU 95A. I was very frustrated so I turned to google to find the answer. Literally the first result directed me to the Sain Smart website where they have printer profiles for their 95A and 92A filament for numerous printers. I downloaded an Ender 3 Pro and the Cura profile and cut a little lizard into the images. It worked unchanged and was a smooth print. As you can see 92A is slightly…

Pros
  • . Compatibility: It is compatible with most FDM printers on the market that use 1.75mm filament, including SainSmart x Creality, Prusa i3, Monoprice MakerSelect & Qidi and other RepRap printers.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great TPU, great color.

Recently I wanted to try different materials and saw the SainSmart 92A Pastel TPU. I wanted the color to be different from other materials I had on hand. The spool came in nice packaging, the thread was sealed in a standard vacuum bag. Scanning the QR code on the packaging will take you to the SainSmart page for their profiles. I used my SainSmart Coreception to print this stuff so I used this one. The profile had a retraction speed of 8mm and 80mm/s, which is a bit high for direct drive…

Pros
  • Low distortion and tension, oil and grease resistant. Printing 92A filament requires more setup than 95A, but with the profile we provide (see product description below) it would be a lot easier to print with.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
